Day 12 of the 90 day challenge has been a success! Got sufficient exercise, didn't eat garbage...and spent a chunk of my day in the company of those with self control. I also had a wonderful phone conversation with my best friend and really got a chance to hear him out about his life, and to feel heard. That stuff is really important to do regularly - to reach out and be heard. Took me a long time to learn how necessary it is for emotional balance and strength.
11 days it was.. Now back on day 1. Anxiety before, just sad and very dissapointed afterward. Had the afternoon to let it sink in yesterday, so now I'm here again. Day 1!
Day 13 going good. My verbal fluency is off the charts. Feels really good to think clearly. I have a lot more patience, too. I haven't been on Instagram for a while and it's a very effective strategy. Going into that "search" area I will get fed with all sorts of images that begin to act like wind for a tightrope walker -- it might only be a breeze, but it can end in disaster. Be strong, fellow warriors, but also... BE STRATEGIC.
