Starting fresh here on July 1st. Day 0. Let's do this!
The days are going fast. Felt angry again today.
I’m a bit surprised I’ve resisted these past few days, thankfully, to be honest it has been quite difficult. Being very angry/frustrated really triggers me, I wanted it bad. I came on here throughout the day and thought about the fact that there’s no point in PMO, I can abstain and feel anger, frustrated, tense etc. Or relapse and feel like crap and get lost in the PMO loop again, possibly never being able to break free. So. One feeling of discomfort or the other... Also the feeling is temporary and hanging in there will teach me something long term, and makes me feel better overall, PMO won’t.
The reason I’ve been feeling like so is because of lack of sleep and very poor diet, which has also made my OCD really bad. Which is good news because it means it doesn’t have to be like this. Not as often and/or as intense anyway.
Day 90. Well I kept the faith, fought the good fight and finished the race so to speak. I'm not going back again to PMO which I thought I woyld do but I realise I can't do moderation so no way. Good luck to the rest of you on this thread and Please realise that if I can complete 90 days without PMO anyone can.
Starting over. Helped myself after sex again.
Congratulations Seeker! That's a great accomplishment and something to feel proud about. It might not be the end of the road but it's definitely an important milestone on the way. Do you have any strategies for how you're going to continue on from here?
Congratulations man this is no small thing! Well done.
I absolutely agree with the moderation part. I think it would be good if you kept coming here daily, maybe in a journal or in another challenge, when we stop being accountable we tend to deceive ourselves more easily.
Check in day 6
Day 1 completed.
@Zori @MindfulWarrior and
Thank you very much for your kind words and support.
I think I'm going to do the 14 step challenge which is basically you start with step one = one day step two = two days etc till step 14 where 14 days without till you have a combined total 105 days without fap or porn. I think the check points will enable me to keep focus better and maybe enable me to have other goals to be achieved at each stage. Good luck to you both as well as the others on the thread in completing the 90 days challenge. I'm sure you will successfully complete it. Believe me, if a very indulgent weak willed man such as myself can complete it, anyone can.
