90 day hard mode as a christian

Im 17, and a christian. Yesterday I relapsed, and i feel really down today. I have heard alot of the nofap community, but never really took a shot at it. This time though, Im going to share my experience with you guys. When I get out of this, I will help others with this issue.

Although Im a christian, Im the same as everyone else, urges and so on. In many churches, people dont talk about porn. Although a lot of people struggle with it.

Thanks to everyone who comment on this post, even just a emoji. It just makes me feel less alone with this issue. You are all my source of inspiration.

I may add some bible verses, tips and tricks to people who sees it :)

I will leave the bible verse down below that made me take up the sword and fight:

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; beyond what you can bear. he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
 
The worst thing you can do is make no fab a religious thing pro is a physical and biological addiction you need to separate the two in order to get victory over your inner lusts good luck man and welcome to NOFAP You did the right thing

day 101 of 275 ( maybe shorter is God chooses pr she decides) you create your own journal and day by day it. join challenges, groups, message PM each other, hardmode pmo is a real way to go, all the other ones seem as though they have parachutes to bail out with, example no porn but can masterbate, you can orgasm but no masterbation.all BS, abstinence is the only way to clean this scourge from your soul ok. need help ask
 
Yeah, I have tried no-porn in the past, but didnt work whatsoever. No PMO must be the way to go. Do you think I should separate God and the issue of porn?
 
Welcome to the forum! As you know I am also new here.

I do not personally belive in God. I agree with the post over that God is sort of a different dimension, like metaphysical. Our problem is physical. However, this is from MY point of wiev, as a non-believer.

So if you have a more dualistic approach to the world, and you truly belive. Is there anyway around that? I don't think so. Hope you find your path!

Nice to see new ones around :) I get your point, I really do. Even the bible says that we are tempted by our own temptations. So when I think about it, then it actually seems better to just go separate, at least somewhat separate. Hope to see you around :)
 
I believe that the higher power of my relationship with God & Jesus not religion because I do not believe in that. this has provided me with incredible insight into my soul and intimacy with my wife of 33 years that would not have happened. proof no porn born masterbation np sex limited hand holding light hugs 101 days so far
I was having unlimited sex per week until i realized I have a problem, God has been mission control fof me like it is for Nasa.

I am also a Christian ready to quit PMO. I can tell you that if you quit at age 17, you will be better off than waiting until you are in your 20's. I started it at age 18 while knowing that I was called to ministry, but running from God's plan. Will pray for you, sir!

Me personally I separate the two because in the church there is just too much shame guilt and ostracism regarding this matter , but do whatever works for you. Just stop watching pornos and yanking on your junk! You got this be strong you can do it.
 
I'm a 56 year-old man I was in it most of my life, if I can make it this far you left have the tenacity in the willpower and the ability to have delayed gratification stamina and by the grace of God will and power to push through this as far as the church goes and being shamed by this 70% of churches have the problem they just don't know how to deal with face with it become a warrior in your church there's a program by desire series called the conquer series look it up on YouTube churches should be adopting these programs mine does there's nothing shameful about it shame is a place where the devil can hide and do his work think about that for a second you bring it into the light you get rid of the shame so you can stand by God and work through it okay so don't be a chicken and don't say anything or do anything you live like Jesus did you walk like Jesus did and you expand his kingdom like Jesus did become a Warrior against pmo by God's grace I sometimes feel like I'm losing my mind I was having sex Unlimited for most of my life I know if I can do it you can do it you can unlearn these habits learn about neuroplasticity that's basically rewiring your brain start reading up on it stop having sex unless you're married that's the only way you should be having sex it will make you a better man and a better person and a better Christian the scriptures Ty right into it God bless I'm now not on my soapbox anymore I do have one request if anybody wants to join it's called The Challenge it's a challenge I have if you look under my name

Thanks bro, real inspirational. Thats right! Many churches dont know how do deal with it. They just say something like "Hey, it is a normal struggle" and thats it. I will check out the conquer series on Youtube aswell. Who made that series on youtube? Because I see quite some of them when i search it up.

Nice to see you! I have been called to help out with the youth ministry at church. Thats the reason why I must quit, I will keep in touch with you :)
