90 Days Without Porn, Masturbation, and Orgasms?!?!? HOW?

    I have NEVER went more than 7 days without PMO so I don't know if this is even fucking possible. After researching all the wonderful benefits of refraining from PMO, I decided to give this thing a go. I'm so scared that I will fail miserably. One thing's for sure is that I cannot do this alone! This is only Day 1 and the day isn't even over yet. Hell, I've started to feel aroused before writing this thread. If you have refrained from masturbation and porn for 30-90+ days, I would appreciate any help you can give me to not fail my goal. I think my life could use some beneficial changes...

    i know for a fact I need to stop fantasizing all the time and just get to work. If you're engrossed in work and working out, it should be possible. The reason you relapse is because you're bored. Make yourself less bored, and it should be easy.

    Thanks man! Really appreciate the advice. You’re right; fantasizing is a HUGE trigger for me, but if I can dramatically decrease it, I know I can make it through this process. Day 1 is done... 89 more days to go. I’m so grateful that I have the NoFap community to help me keep pushing forward. I will definitely start hitting the gym, become more social, and just be more productive to the best of my ability. I hope that you find success in your journey. The urges will get stronger in the first couple of weeks for me, but if we can both take our minds out of fantasy land and put our focus on something else, we can both make it to the end of this extremely difficult challenge. I didn’t even think I would make it through the first day, but I will try to just take it one day at a time.

    you have to approach it from the frame of a committment - "I am quitting porn for good and there is no option to jack off or watch porn anymore. Nothign will stop me"

    Not willpower - "let's see how far I can go". You need to make a permanent decision to give you jacking off and porn for good. Take a break from sex as well. It gets easier the longer you go.

    Dont rationalize any thought that leads you to jack off or watch porn. Dont entertain any such thoughts.

    It will be worse before it will be better. Good luck!

    That goes with anything in life. Burn all the ships and never look back. Fully commit to this new lifestyle, otherwise you will fail at some point. This is how I made it, whereas before I tried over and over.

    Almost through with day 1 of no PMO! Yesterday was actually day 1 but this 90 day challenge on NoFap said that I needed to call the actual first day "Day 0". This is soooooo hard. I find myself randomly getting horny and I just wanna give in but I still haven't. I need to make a commitment to myself and not masturbate or watch porn. If any of you have any success stories, please share along with effective strategies! Together we can beat our unhealthy addiction. Honestly, I can say from my experience that porn and masturbation is 1000x more addictive than weed. Weed doesn't give you physical urges when you don't smoke and has virtually zero withdrawal symptoms compared to PMO.

    It can be very difficult, but it's possible. Trust me on this. I once reached 6 months without pmo, couple of years ago before I joined NoFap. There's no need to beat yourself up for making mistakes. We all make mistakes.

    Here are some things that you can do:

    Write down some goals that you want and keep yourself busy with 'em.

    Do you have any books? If so, read some of them. If you feel like you have nothing to do at your home, there's always a time to grab an important book and read.

    Go outside. Hang out with some of your friends. Talk to them. You can also find a real club to join. Or you can volunteer on helping feeding homeless people, giving street dogs a home, or helping washing people's cars. And you go for a hike as well, have a walk to a forest, mountain, or a river near you. That can help your mind feeling relaxed.

    If you don't have a job, then what are you waiting for? That can be the best way tokeep yourself very busy, and it may helpyou earn some money.

    I don't know if you like videogames. If you do, you can spend time playing a good game that you like. Try not to play a game that can contain sexual backrounds, because that can feed the urge to fap. So, be careful on that. Unless you don't play videogames, no need to worry about that. I don't blame you.

    Go to a gym. Work out. Eat as healthy as possible. Go for a run. It'll boost your testosterone high and help you be fit and feeling strong. Don't forget to drink water though, every day. Play a sport, dude. That can make you very active and busy. You can feel very energetic when you play a sport.

    Meditate every day. Seriously, you have to do this. It can help you remain very calm and clear your mind all the time. Find a spot somewhere comfortable and quiet, so then you can start training your mind. Back and spine straight.

    Do you have a bike? If so, go out for a ride of your life. Get it fixed. Fill their tires, add oil on their chains, and you're ready to go to ride freely like a happy bird. If you don't have one, then go buy one (unless you don't have enough money).

    Block porn sites if you keep on relapsing. Seriously, it's the best option to make. If you have the tendency to watch porn and fap, move your computer to where people can see you.

    Play an instrument. It's never too late to learn new stuff. Whichever instrument you want to learn how to play, go to aschool, practice, get yourself auditionedfor any musical band. That's another best option to be busy.

    Well, I'm out of options. I hope all these help. Now remember, whatever failure you reach, don't let it destroy you, use it as a stepping stone. Like I said, we all make mistakes, and mistakes are meant to be learned from to be smarter. We'll be always here for you everytime. You have my big support. Be strong.

    Really appreciate this! I will take them all in deep consideration on my journey. The urges are SO powerful and I’m only on Day 1. I pulled my pants down but quickly pulled that bitch back up because I made a commitment!

    Hey everyone! I'm on Day 2 now... damn.
    This is hard, but I'm still trying the best I can. The urges tend to get super strong around the time I try to get some sleep and for random periods throughout the day. I also feel a buildup in my balls (LOL) that is just begging for a release. I believe I can push my limits.

    You're wrong on the weed part, AFAIK weed is just like porn, food is the same, is addiction based on dopamine release and dopamine receptors.

    As for strategies, I recommend getting something healthy to kill time with, if your life consist of playing video games then you will never beat PMO. I personally got into running and fishing to kill time, but I'm in a committed relationship with my SO so I have way less free time to watch P, therefore it has been really easy for me since I would have to go out of my way to PMO, I recommend the same others have and avoid fantasies, as soon as you see yourself fantasizing think "no thanks, next thought" and try to focus on something else

    Thank you. I know weed is addictive, but only psychologically, not physically. I get PHYSICAL withdrawal symptoms if I don’t masturbate (aka extreme horniness).

    Either way, thanks for the advice. I tried meditating and that helped me a lot.

    I think thath physical withdrawal is like wanting to take your eyes out because you need a shot of heroin, or the extreme need of nicotine cigs produce. I feel that horniness is so strong in some because of a weak mental state, once you master your mind and build some discipline you will be able to fight the strongets of chaser effects
