A Beginning to a new life - becoming the man I want to be.

Hey nofap community, I'm a 22 year old male with a porn addiction that I've had since I was about 13, I found nofap around a year and half ago, though constant battles to try and stay clean the best streak I've ever done was only 19 days. Ive just binged this weekend leaving me numb from emotions pondering on the life I'm wasting. I realise its time to fight this demon inside me full on, Ive fallen into darker and more disturbing forms of porn that I know are morally wrong and in contrary to who I am. Thus, there will be no cutting corners or counting the days - i just want to fight everyday for a future without porn but a future to grow and prosper into the man I want to be.

It has took over a year and a half to finally find the courage to just write this thread, pathetic I know but the feeling of low self respect and confidence has led me to fight this struggle on my own, yet I've come to terms with the fact this battle cannot be won by myself, so here I am writing this introduction - tomorrow I will open up to my family and ask for help that I so desperately need. I will write down my whys for wanting to rid porn from my life the triggers that process me to relapse, the techniques I will use to fight off those urges! and my goals for the coming days, weeks and months! then I will begin my journal on here and converse and inspire other members on this community to fight this battle together, I know we can succeed and live are lives to there full potential and hopefully find happiness along the way.
