Yesterday a friend sent me a video, I opened it and after 10 seconds I've realised it was porn. The length of the video was 2 minutes. I couldn't look away from it, it was turning me on and I was thinking to fap, but then at minute 1:30 nofap came in my mind. I deleted the video and took a cold shower. While watching the video I didn't think that the fact of me watching it could mean my failure and the restart of my counter, this thought came after some time. I don't feel like resetting, I didn't seek for porn it just happened and I watched it, partly because it was turning me on and partly because of the originality of the video itself

    TRIGGER WARNING

The video began with a girl (dressed) sitting in the back of a motorcycle. A guy started driving it and while he was going, the girl was masturbating in different positions.

Do you think that I should reset my counter? If I think about the video I get turned on, but I feel like it was a movie with a sex scene in it. Two weeks ago I was watching a movie and there was a sex scene in it (you could see literally everything). For the next few days thinking about the scene turnt me on like with the video now. What do you think? I am at day 31 btw

  2. I don’t think it’s a reset. A similar thing happened to me. Cousin sending messages which contained porn videos in a WhatsApp group. The thumbnail was clearly porn. And they automatically downloaded to my gallery... It was unintentional you did not seek out the porn it was forced upon you.

Don't reset... it was not your fault the video came to you. Although you did consciously watch it for a short time you took decisive action to refrain.
Well done, a difficult test passed IMO

You are right but instead of closing it when I realised it was porn I kept watching for a minute

I don't think this is a reset, as long as you didn't fap and it only lasted a 1-2 minutes. It probably only made you stronger, since you managed not to fap. What if you mentally "rewatched" a porn clip in your head, get a little aroused, and then move on? This probably happens to everyone. But it's not a relapse.

Ad long as it doesn't interfere with my recovery I'm ok with not resetting my counter. Thanks!
