A fun release...

  1. One of the things that helped motivate me to start nofap was the confidence to do things I've been scared to do (which actually turned out to be the most fun I've had in a long time.) So what is an example of this?

Buying my first Stick Shift car and learning how to drive it.

To any of you who can only drive automatic...auto is no fun at all once you've gotten hold of a manual transmission. Especially a 2006 Chevy Cobalt Super Sport. Even with just a Naturally aspirated 2.4 that car is still a lot of fun.

I had a really, really bad day at work today. I almost fell into relapse. It was 28 degrees Celsius and some of the ladies didn't feel modesty was an option. I'm 9 days into my NoFap journey and I'm pretty sure my flatline is being tempted. After work, I could've just gone home and taken a glass of rum and gone to bed, but no. My job is right beside Highway 1 in Canada, and that highway is relatively barren at midnight.

I decided since I've gotten almost perfect at driving stick that I would take it on the highway whilst blaring Initial D music. And yes, I was speeding. How fast? Us Canucks would say "We got the car to do a buck-eighty, eh?" (that's about 115 miles per hour.)

I know it's not right to speed like that, but oh man was it ever a release.

  2. Nice. Reminds me of times when you really feel down and then some small thing happens to help you out. In the UK driving can be a real pain but I remember last summer driving on what you'd call a highway just at the sun was setting. There were very few cars on the roads and the highway, which I'd never seen without cars on it, was pretty much empty. The road looked absolutely huge. It just looked so wide and I was just a small dot in comparison. I had this euphoric feeling that it was all mine. I was glad to be alive to witness that moment.

  3. It's sometimes the little things in life that can change the way we Feel. Sunsets, green pastures, cool streams, fresh air, it's incredible what can change our moods.
