Hello! I am not a porn addict, but my hubby is. This has been the most destructive underlying issue that has plagued us for the entirety of our 10-year marriage. I refuse to lose him to porn. He's my husband, my partner, and the father of our two beautiful little girls. I love him like porn never will, I support him like porn cannot, and I will care for him unlike the porn that caused us so much pain. I am not here to criticize anyone, actually, I am here to learn and to offer support to all of you who are suffering and struggling as we are. Best of luck to all of you!!

    That's the spirit!
We need more women in here - be it porn addicts or otherwise.

If you want to give something back, while you are reading/learning in here, what you can do is to help encourage more guys on being open towards their spouse on it. (And decide WHEN is the best time to open up).
Some are too ashamed to talk about it. Others are worried that she will feel hurt if she knows. And others (like in your relship) is already in a situation where both people openly knows but there has been a long string of failed attempts, defeats and the shame and blame that sometimes comes with it.

Probably, the quickest and most direct way you can learn about "guy mentality" and "porn addict mentality" is to enter into a dialogue with men about this. Comment some places and invite for questions - perhaps in this thread.
Result: you can get help & insights from many guys on how to help YOUR man. And vice versa, your own insights will help many more men than your own spouse.
