A good tip to speed recovery time and prevent relapse.

    This is something I came across in the early stages of my NoFap withdrawal.

    Here's a very good tip to reduce flatline length, and speed up recovery.

    1. Remove stimulating activities and compounds of all kinds.
    --Some of my common ones were:
    a. Video Games
    b. Intense movies/tv shows
    c. High stress work
    d. Excessive exercise
    e. Stimulating foods - Coffee, Sugar, Excessive Carbohydrates, junk foods

    Personally for me, stress was by none, the biggest trigger for my PMO. Junk Foods, coffee, video games, internet pornography all work on stimulating the nervous system. I always found that once I began an internet pornography binge, I would also binge on junk food and video games. They are all intertwined toward the same reward pathways and stress the fuck out of the body. Eventually the body gets tired, and you start getting a host of bad symptoms.

    Therefore, removing stressors from my life, in addition to quitting video gaming and stimulants for a while really helped my recovery. The mind is a lot more calm and much less prone to anxiety.
