  1. Hi everyone,
Please check the below link. I just saw it now. Don't take this as a religious thing, just take the points. I'm sure it will be a benefit for all of us. :)

Actually I was asking for the book. There are many versions written by multiple writers. Which one should I prefer?

You should read the actual conversation of lord krishna and Arjun
As many writers have just put their point of view or just a summary

I have read two versions that are both pretty good:
    https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Bhagavad_Gita_(Arnold_translation)
    and http://www.vedabase.com/bg/

It is a philosophical dialogue between God (Vishnu/Krishna) and Arjuna. One of the core principles of the Gita is that man should not work for the fruit of his labor, but instead do his duty because he ought to, and not to seek a reward for it. Ghandi, who was Hindu, passionately believed in the Gita and carried it everywhere and read it throughout his life.
It is a good text. I would recommend it to anyone who is a seeker of knowledge and truth.

  16. I would like to humbly recommend the Bhagavad Gita translation by Ramakrishna Math. They are not biased and also give word by word translation. Ive learnt a bit of Sanskrit simply by reading the Gita by RK math

  17. "Abhyasena tu Kaunteya Vairagyena Cha Grihyate" (by practice/study and dispassion the mind comes under control)
Words to be embossed on every Fapstronauts mind
