This is the truth. You need to deal with the consequences of your decisions

very true being rude like that and calling them stuff and blaming them for their past isn't really right, and the fact is,everyone is wise in retrospect.

If you eat to much and exercise to little, you get fat. If you do porno you catch diseases. Life is all about making choices and humans have brains which can predict the outcome of those decisions. If you chose money above self respect or whatever deal with it. Stop pointing fingers and own that you fucked up. I'm not talking about women who are forced into it, that's something else obvl.

If we responded to people in our community the way we responded to this letter, every post would be “you made a choice to use porn. Go fix it now. Own your choice.” “You’re a pervert because you like porn. Just like the sluts who make it.”

    What a great community.

That's how it should be and taking ownership of my decisions is what allowed me to get my current best streak. Everyone is responsible for their own choices, that's not the same as calling them sluts or perverts.

None has the right to judge someone else because everyone has faults but that doesn't mean people shouldn't be held accountable for their choices.

Stop swinging from one extreme to another.

maybe she didn't like doing porn, but some of the woman i see when i relapse on pornhub looks happy to me, at least the popular ones: they get ton of money, they use twitter to communicate with their followers, and overall seems motivated to work at this.

so i would be truly convinced if you show me a video of a girl that looks like having a good time, making a lot of money in onlyFans, and show me a post of her saying she is unhappy.

i have no idea what woman wants: it's logical to assume majority of them want to marry and have kids, and the minority in the porn industry wants to get banged all day. who knows ?

I think you didn't understand the basic message of the letter. "IT'S AN ACT"
I'm not disrespecting you but your thinking sounds naïve. You think what you see "on camera" is real. With that logic all Hollywood movies also "real" & somehow camera man happens to be every where to shoot. Even a 5 year old child knows that a movie is made of actors, a theme, a director, a camera team, a marketing team on twitter & everything else.
I think until the addicts here in this forum can't understand this basic thing, they might keep struggling with relapses. Because their mind is still under the cloud that most of or some of this industry is somehow reality.
And once this cloud dissipate, their eyes will get opened.

i don't think i am wrong, i will try to explain:
when Jennifer Lawrence act in a movie like hunger games, i know that she is working hard to really get herself into the emotions that she is faking. and i also know that she it very good at it - because she is a good actress. and i also know she likes her job, and have fun at her job.

the same goes for a talented porn actress - she is good at her job, she is talented at her job. she probably likes her job.

are you a lawyer ? do you really care about your client without his money ? no you wouldn't care. but it doesn't mean you hate your job and it doesn't mean that you are bad at your job.
the same goes for doctor, firefighter ect.

i am not saying you are wrong, porn IS terrible. but i don't think it's terrible for the successful actress.

however, the successful actress will suffer in the FAR future, when her kids go to school and get bullied by other kids that will show them their mama on screen getting banged. but that's only for the far future.

I think some women making pornographic content do enjoy what they do. They are acting and doing their job, but some enjoy it. I would argue that the rise of places like onlyfans are creating safer places for actresses and entertainers to do their craft and providing more agency to the entertainers. That is different than the mainstream porn industry, webcam hotels in poor countries, and places like strip clubs.

And even so, many of them do this job because it is one the few jobs available to them that pays decently in their location for people that are uneducated.

Women out of desperation do sexual jobs to earn living. Men out of desperation do petty crimes to earn living. But any parent in their right mind do not want their child to do either sex or crime for money. Hence onlyfans can't be a socially accepted work.

What I can't comprehend for now is we call these men as criminal but somehow I feel wrong to call these girls as criminals. Perhaps because I as a consumer has a active role in their crime, as a porn consumer, so I loose the right to call my counterpart as criminal.
But then, can my family (my mother or sister & so on, who have never seen porn) call these porn girls as criminals ? I'm not sure for now. I've to ponder on this further.
(Note: I'm using the term criminal not in legal term, but as a socially unaccepted way)

See the subtle irony here, if we "now" know that they WILL regret in future, why are we using their present ignorance to satisfy our penis (or to label them as sl*t).
This is what a predator of any type (a pimp, a trafficker, Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, pedophile priests & so on) do. They use innocence or ignorance of girls (or boys) to "coerce" them & then exploit them.
We don't have to wait for these girls to realize the reality of life, to label them as victims, we can call them as victim in the beginning itself, when they are (let's say) making quick money on onlyfans.
I remember watching endless porn casting videos like that of porn producer Woodman's. How he coerces girls who are just looking for a modeling job. I enjoyed them then. Today if God makes me invisible for one day, I really want to kill that asshole Woodman & producers like him (even though being a highly sensitive person I've never even killed a fly by my hands)

Another thing, I'm ok to call some of these girls as 'spoilt' kids but only before they enter this quick money making, not after they start. Because the fact that consumer like me has a role to play in their work, as active consumer, I tend to feel failure on my part. So if we take advantage of a spoilt person for our gain, we loose any right to label them as 'spoilt' anymore.
