A lot of people don't understand that some people can't psychically have sex.

    We all know how this happens. But I would say the vast majority of the public don't know this can happen. I would also say the vast majority of the public wouldn't believe this can happen.

    There has been times in the past my friends haven't understood why I have refused sex with women. But they didn't understand I psychically couldn't have sex. No way I would of got a solid enough erection to penetrate in the past, and even if I did I would of likely just lost the erection.

    But now after being on this journey for about a year and a half something I am noticing more and more recently is I definitely have a big improvement in my erections. Not just my erections, but just the way my penis functions in general. My penis just goes hard much easier, the way it functions seems to be different now. So now most mornings I'm waking up with morning wood, random spontaneous erections through out the day, literally just stroking or touching my penis a little bit and it's going hard. This is completely different to what it used to be like. I used to have a complete limp dick.

    I am now starting to believe I actually might be able to have successful sex. But that's only because my penis is now working a lot better. In the past it didn't work. If someones penis doesn't work then how on earth are they supposed to be able to have sex?

    But a lot of people don't understand that.

    It can be hard at times but I'm going to restart a streak and this time I'm gonna take it seriously. The better sex performance is one of the great perks that everyone gets from NoFap! I completely understand where you're coming from, it feels really bad to say no to people. But it feels great when you start having erections again and you can turn yourself around! Keep fighting the good fight, sincerely, a fellow fapstronaut

    You make a very good point. I was just reading an article about Bernie Sanders and that his doctor advised him that his heart is not strong enough for sex. So the guy must be celibate now for the rest of his life.

    Most women are pretty understanding about it if you have some problems the first time you have sex. Especially if you try and please her in other ways. They aren't expecting it to be like in porn! Nor would they want it to.

    But I don't think a woman is going to be happy with a guy who finds it next to impossible to have successful sex for a while? Or do you think a lot of woman would be understanding of this?

    It may be psychological? Because you are feeling better now, I don't think it is physical dysfunction. Try changing your mind and thoughts. Think that you can do it.

    It's very hard to say. I've dated girls and had problems in the past and they've stuck with me until I managed ok - maybe a couple of weeks. But if you are talking about casual sex, I can't imagine they would be very impressed.

    At this point in my life, I could go either way. If I meet someone awesome if not? Nobody can play with a penis like me so either way I'll be happy

    i gave up sex for more the 4 years for the same reason. Then i started my nofap journey and after 86 days i had sex again. i felt ready. It was amazing!
