I'm free of PM for a month now, but I'm starting to have tough moments as of yesterday.
My dreams turns out to be somewhat sexual, picturing a lot of women I had sex with or wished I had. Nothing sexual is going on, but the whole atmosphere is sexually tensed. It drives me CRAZY. I feel the urge to M and watch P, and going back to cybersex with a girl I used to have sex with. I'm trying to hold on by keeping myself occupied, but it is nagging me all the time.

Tips on how to avoid this?

For me the first 30 days was not as difficult as the post 30 days. I used to wonder about the stories of guys who keep relapsing after a month. But I see it is true. The last week for me has been tough.

I began to lose focus, start to ease back into the "softer" stuff. i.e. just looking at photo's of beautiful girls, then youtube vids, luckily I kept from going too far. But it's been tough.

My advice is to read some of the journals here, see what others have done or are going through. And perhaps even help others who are earlier on in their journey.

Sometimes this is enough to get through the tough moments.

Stay strong EyeTree. Continue strong in whatever your NoFap routine was. Replace the void P left with another passion. Yes, women are beautiful, but, you can enjoy their company and beauty without having to fap to some pixel representations of them.

stay strong man. it is the truth, it gets hard after that first month. But go the extra mile to prevent yourself from making actions happen and deleting those bad thoughts if they come to you. do pushups. take a cold shower, your senses will come back to you. Take a run. ANYTHING, trust me. You'll feel a lot better for yourself if you know you prevented another day and your streak is still alive and beating.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like calling it quits after 30 days, I've never made it this far before and I sure as hell don't want to go back... it's been tough the last 4 days or so. But I do see the benefits of being on here, it helps you rationalize everything if nothing else.

You know the feeling man, don't be naive.
Before PMO you feel it is the best thing in the world, after PMO you will be filled with shame, regret, and self hatred.
So give a try bro, rebooting is an average of 90 days PMO free.
    you are 33% through already.

    Best of loves

True words here. 30 days first were kinda easy for me but then I went through some hard moments, almost depression I guess. You can check my journal, it started around Day 25 I think, but I never relapsed though. I keep telling myself this : "everytime I wake up, I'm one day closer to the end". :)

30 days seems to be a tipping point for some, including myself, as I just slipped after 31 days. This is common thing with addiction I think. I remember reaching a year of not smoking, then lit up again, thinking I wouldn't enjoy and then began smoking again. In a sense, we see great numbers such as 30, 60, 90 and 365 days as victories so much that we let our guards down. Be careful.

I think the brilliant truth for me has been I just didn't need to relapse and binge. A day later, I feel like crap and I've been feeling like this for years without ever really realizing it. It took this slip to really have this sink in.
