A new guide for blocking porn on iOS

Hello,

I’ve developed a guide explaining my method for blocking p*** on iOS devices. This is the best method I’ve found to do so, following a long investigation into the matter over the last couple of years. I’ve tried probably everything. App Store apps and Screen Time, just don’t cut it I’m afraid.

It’s on my BMAC page. It’s free to read (and can be free to implement), since I’m only really explaining a feature it seems not many people know about. I hope it can help you.

Please ask questions either here or on the BMAC page instead.

Thanks!

N. B. Please only read if you’re prepared to update your system, since I point out a couple of loopholes in common approaches. My intention here is just to strengthen people’s systems.

Hmm i just install blocksite as an extension to the browser. I can then block porn as an entire subject. i cant visit anykind of even remotely porn related site. and i dont turn it off. i get a dog picture on sites and pictures are blurred out
HOWEVER i think that instead of expecting perfect flawless software that a lot do just stop turning them off.

I think the solution for a lot could be to cancel their internet subscription. for a period. Then retain for that period and from all other internet related to. Which i think that could be beneficial for anybody.) if its on your phone cant you call your provider and order some kind of deal with an miniscule amount of data or ask them to cancel your internet for a while
i understand you migth need internet connection for work, school or anything other related. But isnt it possible to cancel an internet provider and then cycle the deals that are available that sells internet (and possibly ban content) then set up a connection for 1 week use. suppose you have a summer vaccation house. What would it take to only be surfing there during a three week vaccation. Im sure they have packages for that.
Another possibility could be (especially if you live with someone. ) borrow their internet/phone. for work related stuff NOT PORN:P cancel your own. And use the chance to shop around and find deals then setup a connection again. and forget about spending time on finding programs that are flawless at blocking porn.

off course this wont work entirely with the 90 days format. but it could be an alternative way to dejunk yourself and besides you would save a lot of money.
i migth consider doing it by myself actually. But for my current decision to go 90 days without PMO. it is sufficient with blocksite browser extension. But i migth try it later and rid myself of to much yyyyytyuube:P:P and NEEEEEEWS:P

I can’t seem to reply to you directly without an error. It’s great you can use browser extensions without succumbing to disabling them, but I know that, at least in my case, this just won’t do. I really don’t think cancelling your internet or not using your device is in any way a practical or sustainable solution.
