    ...that's in the form of a bank account. Transfer $20/50/whatever amount that's enough to hurt but not to cause a burden unless it's repeatedly done in a short time span. Then once you go so long without a relapse, transfer the same amount back to your normal account. Ideally it would be to an account that doesn't have a debit card attached to it and is with a different bank so that it would take days to get the money back.

    Thoughts or ideas? I'm going to do this myself, and if there's enough ideas/interest maybe I'll start a challenge thread.

    I saw a similar idea on a different site, except without rewarding yourself at the end. Instead, all the money instantly goes to charity. It seemed to work for some people, because charity or not, it's hard to give up money ;).

    It's a good idea, but the hard part for me about stuff like this is that nobody is forcing me to actually follow through with it. If I'm able to say "eh, it's not that big of a deal if I PMO today," then I'm equally able to say "eh, it's not that big of a deal if I actually do that money transfer thing."

    20 Dollars here is a lifetime of work here so I wouldn't do it. I have my own method of not doing it.
