    hello man welcome the group, i wanna be honest the first day and the second one are for me the hardest of all, because you dont have the discipline habit and,if youre never have tried before then you are lacking of information, so here is my advice you need to apply all the trick bag so here i go:
    -try to make a shcedulle of the things that you want/ have to do during the day and try to acomplish,its okay if you fail a little the thing is to go upgrading the schedule and getting better on it and IMPORTANT- dont tyranase youre self you need to create a realistic shcedulle of things that you know that youre capable to doon 1 day even if its a vage idea use it, because if you put tomany things youre gonna fail very of them and that will low down youre motivation and you will be more used to relapse on that state
    - if you can ( even when i highly recomend this do it in order of youre freetime/worktime situation) put on the shcedule an exercise rutine and a meditation one, but WARNING if youre not used to make exerciese start with something simple i recomend weight trainning its simple,you put some weight things on a bag and then you test what is the weight that represents a challenge for you,but the one that you can also can lift up, if you are constant then you will see results pretty fast an that will motivate you, and meditation will relax you ,low down youre urges and make you train your concentration and your conciusness of present
    -during the hole day every time you go to wash, use cold water
    -when you think that youre about to relapse do something funny, wach a youtuber you like, or a movie, or play a videogame ( but you need to be sure that nothing on those things will have content that make you relapse)
    - try to be on companny of youre family,couple, roomy anybody ho lives with you because you probably not gonna fap if theres people around
    -eliminate coffee because it will create anxiety and that will make you relapse, if you want you can replase it with tea
    -talk to youre friends or a family member that you have long time no se (messages or calls, not facebook, whatsapp or any of those similars, this because usually there is some bad content on those plataforms)

    maybe this is to litle extense so focus on knowing what to do on the day, make some exercise ( whatever you like in dont need to be weight trainning if you dont want) meditation for a few minutes with some relaxing music its vital it will helpyou a lot, the schedule thing its more long term, but the rest you can aply it today and it will help you a lot man seriusly if you surpass the first and the second day, then youre gonna start creating dicipline thas why the schedule, the whole objetive its that you create dicipline, ovbiously thats not enough to win the fight its gonna be a travel but once you surpass those days we will be able to give you better and more adjusted advices based on youre situation and how are you feeling i hope this can help you sorry if it makes long i wish you the best man you can do it

    i have a problem i want to change from "no porn no masturbation" to "no porn masturbation and orgasm" how do i do that ive already go to the badge menu and change it puting that im streak since 14/08/20 but nothing happened it stills appear like usual

    im think that when i change to hardmode i got 1 day of delay on my day counter i should be on my 7 day i think but well no worry going trought 7 day (apparently) so lets keep the spirit, wish you all an incredible and productive day!!!:emoji_grin::emoji_grin::emoji_grin:

    Hey boys i've been dealing with quite the urge today, during the day it was going good and general but then when i was relaxing in my sofa or somewhat soft material, my mom was chilling also and was watching educational videos and funny videos i think. But then i heard moaning and i was like "wtf" and i tuned my music in my earphones up, short story: i didn't relapsed.

    But my question is;

    Is this a relapse?

    I dont feel guilt but a little dopamine rush, and i didin't touched my D(didin't even thought about it) and then i started playing video games in my phone just to get my mind off it too. And my father was there too, i wonder what his reaction could be lol.

    Day 1. Brand new to the thread. Looking forward to the journey. For some background, longest streak ever was about 12-14 days or so. The other handful of times I've tried to quit, I'm lucky to go more than 3-4 days.

    For background, started pmo around 15 years ago at age 14, and did so pretty much every day multiple times a day with almost no breaks. Never knew the addiction dangers since (aside from potential social shame from your peers in school and whatnot) only ever heard positive benefits about pmo. Only realized the damage I'd done around a year ago after reading Your Brain On Porn when I noted I had suffered pretty much all the same negative symptoms and side effects mentioned in the book.

    The near two week streak I mentioned in the first paragraph happened very recently (last month) and oddly enough the first week of it was a breeze with nearly NO urges. Actually only the last 3-4 days were difficult before I finally cracked. I can't help but think the initial ease of that streak (which I must emphasize was a first for me) was due to the fact that unlike all other attempts, it was the only time I had told someone else what I was doing. They weren't necessarily an accountability partner per se, however it was someone I spoke to pretty regularly at the time, so maybe having to report my failure was enough of an incentive to stay on the straight and narrow.

    Anyway, that correlation is what brought me to this community. The accountability strategy so far has been the most effective method for me and I naturally like to assist others as well. Joining really was a no-brainer. Feels great to be part of a community which shares a struggle I've had so much shame about for half my life. Anyway I also hope I can add some value to this community and help you guys change your lives for the better!

    I mean if you ask me I think you answered your question already when you said "I didn't relapse". I've seen threads where this topic has come up and the distinction I noticed were people talking about "relapsing" vs "resetting". Resetting of course referring to reasons you should reset your badge timer. For example, some guys consider simply looking at P (without M and O) a relapse, others argue it's not a full relapse but you should still reset your timer since principally you broke your streak and intentionally gave yourself a dopamine spike from something you are supposed to be rewiring your brain against. There didn't seem to be a clear consensus, but maybe someone else here knows better.

    A strict relapse criteria in most cases is preferable, but don't overdo it. Case in point, some guys have relapsed on purpose simply because they had a wet dream and thought "Eh...guess I failed. Screw it. Might as well go all the way now." In your case, I don't really see any grounds to consider it a relapse nor a reset since it doesn't seem you intentionally sought stimulus. Personally, I think it's counter-intuitive to be so strict with your rules since in today's over-sexualized society, it's damn near impossible to avoid ALL possible stimulus. Just chalk up the involuntary dopamine spike as speed bumps and keep moving forward. If it helps, immediately distract yourself with something productive to balance it out. Maybe not video games next time?

    Underlying issue really just seems to be that people should perhaps take more time to formulate their own personal goals for NoFAP. At the end of the day, only you know what you need to be doing to fix your problem and what your true North should be.

    going through day 10!!! i can believe a have reached so far, but things are getting harder, today ive got massive urge, it was crazy now im fine but today on morning and yestetday on night, ive started to get this big urges ive been able to control it but, because ive never had reached this far ( or at least not in a long time) can you give me some advice? i also wanna say thanks to everyone who helped me to reach this far,this group has helped me a lot so thanks everybody
