    Starting the day, feeling positive but I know my triggers are after lunchtime so I'll make sure I go for a long walk and clear my head. 24hrs, that's all I've got to focus on. Have a good day everyone

  2. Day 29 - Pretty busy day with work and other commitments. Minor urges but nothing that was alarming to me, just my brain being itself. I've been forced to use telegram for one of my commitments so I'm working on my discipline because I've found triggering content on telegram before but now I need to stay focused and refrain from searching for anything that I will regret seeing.

  7. Day 30 - Feeling really grounded and there is a lot more mental clarity than back when I was doing PMO regularly. Now the real challenge will begin to keep this effort going

  9. Day 31 - Still feeling good, keeping myself busy with work and other interests. There was a video on my twitter feed that would have been a trigger for me before but I was able to move on from it without getting tripped up.

    Joining in here. I would love an in-person group, but I don't know anyone in real life. I am about to go to bed and sleep the rest of the way through day 14. Lol! I've never won a fight before on my back!

    About a week ago, a week into my streak, I started looking at nude selfies (girls who have posted- not my own) and I decided I needed to change something before I ended up masturbating. I started making myself write a page every day, repetitively, "I will not take my phone to bed. I will not look at porn or masturbate." I have been leaving my phone plugged in across the room without a thought of taking it to bed. Although, today I opened a nude selfie page and as soon as I saw the first picture I felt really uncomfortable with the rising feelings and shut it down immediately. Tonight, when I got to my room, I accidentally threw my phone on the bed as I got ready. A few minutes later I saw it and thought, "what's that doing there? that doesn't belong here." Then took it back to it's usual spot.

    Had a busy week and am on day 5. Being busy helps for sure but it's the weekends, like now where I get triggered and I can feel some urges now. Coming here to write down that I will not fail today, I'll suppress the feelings and get through. Keep strong everyone.

  14. You should get appblock for your phone and start blocking the internet at the time you would normally search for nudes. If blocking the whole internet is too much then you can block the website/app that has the nudes. This can help you in the beginning while your brain needs to get used to a new routine.

  15. Days 32 & 33 - I think my body is starting to go through more changes, the frequency of my wet dreams is increasing. It feels like I get them every other night now.. Other than the wet dreams I still feel okay

    Hey guys! I'm about to hit a full week, which I'm pretty happy about. I know I already hyped it here once, but the mindfulness-based interventions aimed at overcoming addiction taught by Dr. Judson Brewer have been really helpful for me since I recently made the recommitment to no P. Hope everyone's doing well and enjoying the weekend. I'm putting my game face on and gearing up for week 2!
     
  17. Day 34 - I ran into some trouble, almost relapsed. I let myself get triggered and from there I was looking for more triggers. I could feel my mind going right back into "acting out mode". I quickly closed this app and went out to run some errands. That helped me settle down for a while but when I came back home I wanted to look at the triggers some more. So I ended up uninstalling that app on the computer and I blocked the source website so I can't reinstall it. I still need to use a particular app so I am thinking of installing it on my tablet, allowing myself to read important messages and then when I am finished I can block the app for the day using AppBlock.
    These urges were hanging around with me for the rest of the day, when I went to bed I got the biggest urges in a long time. I was really getting pushed to start masturbating, but I knew I wasn't going back to the anxiety, brain fog and the other messed up traits I got. So I just stayed in my bed until I fell asleep.
    I hope an experience like this will strengthen my will to resist triggers and urges.

  18. Yesterday I pushed the panic button, I saw a quote that said something like "You can't dream of a character change, you have to pound it in" and that is what we are all doing..

    Oh I'm close to being pushed over the edge today. I came here to try and quiet the noise but then read a post about someone who got triggered then tried to find what they were triggered by!!. Managed to get hold and closed that stuff down. Need to get up and out and move, sat at my desk working today and I'm feeling the pressure.
