I think it's harder than giving up smoking, at least in the long-term. I tried to give up smoking and PMO around the same time and I've had way more wanks than cigarettes since then. It's easier to relapse as well, it's literally at the tip of your fingers, whereas with other addictions you actively have to seek them out.

How's everyone doing, any struggles? I've had a few temptations but managed to stave it off.

I felt an urge this morning, but I managed to handle it by immediately leaving my house to have a bit of exercise

A year since getting back into NoFap and feel like I've already made some pretty good progress. I'm about a week off the six-month mark, which I'm really pleased with.

Outside of NoFap, I've lost about 3 stone, I'm earning quite a bit more, and we're expecting our third child. Just got to keep pressing on, though not sure exactly what goals to set for the following year quite yet.

    Hello All,

Been a very long time since I checked in. Still going but had far more problems with peaking than I ever have. The good thing is that my brain seems to easily draw the line there and not want to masturbate. Otherwise, a lot of better habits have also slipped over the end of year but gradually getting back into a routine again. And to think on where I am now compared to where I was this time last year. I have made so much progress. It has been worth it. I cannot fall backwards.

    Take care everyone.

Not checked in for a while but seems like all has gone quiet. Hope everyone is well.

Still going but been very close to relapsing. The urge has been so strong this weekend. Have slipped into a lot of bad habits. I thought they were gone but habits are always there, just waiting to come back... Lied to my girlfriend yesterday about viewing stuff. I cannot keep doing that to her. Just tired and stressed from the job and looking forward to the day when I can be with my her permanently and not see each other twice a month... But I have to keep pushing through. Got to go back to a good routine.

    Take care everyone.

At least you're back on. 150 days is good, you're set up to do even better this time.

Looks like I've passed 7 months now. Things have gotten a lot easier, I'm not even really battling temptation at this point. Things that used to trigger me don't send me immediately looking for scud on the internet.

    @[email protected] Welcome!

I'm back after some months away in various degrees of acting out. I hope to succeed this time without too much BS.

1 week! Yay! Zero interest in porn so far.

I also cut out video games again. They always seem to get me off track. And I don't even really enjoy them anymore. Mostly it's fun at the start but eventually I just keep playing to see the end of the story (for example, Tales of Arise). Or I play mindless grinding games that are fun in the beginning but just feel empty after a while (Diablo 2 Resurrected).

I heavily changed my routine, I get out of bed an hour earlier to workout (6:30) and I go to bed earlier (21:30).

    My new routine is:
    • 6:30 - 8:30 get up, exercise, breakfast, kids to school
    • 8:30 - 17:00 work
    • 17:00 - 19:30 dinner, play with kids, chores, kids to bed
    • 19:30 - 21:30 evening routine
    • 21:30 - 22:30 go to bed and read, and then sleep
Instead of having a evening strict routine, I just made a daily todo list:
    • 30m meditation
    • Wim Hof method
    • Visualization
    • Affirmations
    • Journaling
    • Reading news
    • Listen inspiring podcast
    • Sudoku
The more I can do the better, but I don't require myself to do all of them.

Also at least 2 evenings quality time with my wife.
And weekends are mostly playing with kids, doing chores, seeing friends etc.

So that leaves me no time to screw around with myself anymore.
