awesome! Great to see your counter getting closer to that one week mark. If you are doing hard mode that is when things will start to get difficult again...be ready to come on here when you are having urges.

I am having an urge, approaching one week hard mode...tough times but we can do it! My gf threw out her back a few days ago, so hard mode streak is on...bring on week two hard mode, and week 5 no pm!

 

Hope to reach that too! Yeah, for now i am on hard mode too, have to keep be strong! I'm starting these last days to have urges! Hope i'll not get any flatline, i kind of hate that!

 

Had a bit of a rough time lately, apparently developed Long Covid and it's knocked me for six. On the bright side, absolutely no fapping and couldn't be less interested in jacking it right now.

I changed my counter to indicate 'no p' instead of 'no pm', but I am still trying to eliminate both. I just want to take credit for staying away from p, rather than trying to stay totally free of both p and m and relapsing as a result of the pressure. I find that staying free of p means staying legal, so I think that should be the priority (all free p online is on sites that are illegal to even visit).

 

Still unwell but recovering. Been a rough time with it. However, I've just noticed I'm now 300 days, which is good. Going to power on for a year.

 

Hey guys it’s been a while we just moved so I was busy for a while. No urges or interest in sex whatsoever. Too much going on and too much to do still. It’s a new build house so we have to do everything. And the whole garden is still untouched so having nothing to do can’t be my excuse.

I was struck with a lung infection last week so now I’ve just been laying on bed for the whole week, and still recovering.

Not much I can do but watch tv. I actually almost never watch tv but I really appreciate its existence whenever I’m sick.

The funny thing is, even while being this sick, my sex drive seems to be coming back online (after a month or so) and it’s directed to my wife only. I’m glad about that. My brain has no connection to this new environment and watching porn, so I hope I can keep it that way.

Hello All,

A very long time since I checked in. Things have been very much up and down but haven't relapsed into PMO. I have slipped back into indulging in material that I previously did. Some of this is from unintentional exposure, some from choosing when things were tough (it is always a choice, no matter how hard). However, my partner now knows I have slipped into looking at things. And she was understandably unhappy. But now she knows I can use that as a source of accountability. As I near the one year mark I know I have to go full hard mode with no excuses. I want to be the best person I can for her. And I will be.

Urges are strong currently. Haven't had strong urges since I moved. I haven't seen any porn in this house and I want to keep it that way. I don't want to lose time to this trap again. There are too many things to do in the house and the to be realized garden. I really like the way my life is right now. My brain is trying to convince me watching porn is putting icing on the top. But I know it's a path downhill.

 

I feel the same way, got to push on for a full year. Almost there!

 

I have read the rules and would like to join this group. I have not been on NoFap for a long time, but need some help, support and people to talk to. I have suffer many slips and relapses. I have reset my counter as of today as this is where my journey must start again: hope you’ll have me.

 

Day 2 for me back into being more aware of the effort I need to put into my recovery. Things are at a low with my wife, no trust, and no outlook of hope currently. I have urges to M creeping in today so need to stay strong and I need to find a way of sustaining my commitment to my recovery over a longer period of time, not just days and weeks. I have started running a little this week which gets me out as working at home it can be quite debilitating. I hope everyone on here can stay positive and has a good day.

 

Good to have you here. I work from home too, procrastination can be a problem. I try and distract myself with other stuff, the lesser of two evils. Video games, YouTube, whatever. It's breaking the habit that's the hard part but it gets easier the longer your streaks get.

 

Thanks for the reassurance, another day ticked for sobriety so happy. I think my urges to act out at the moment are largely due to anxiety about the future with my wife and kids as our relationship is at a real low, there is no communication but at the moment I am just trying to focus on me one day at a time, hopefully my commitment to my recovery and change in behaviour will prove positive for us in the future and in turn lessen my anxiety. Planning to be productive round the house when I am not working to keep busy. Have a good and hopefully positive day everyone.
