    hi, i'm in.

New to the forum. Have tried quitting porn many times before and the longest I've gone is 30 days.
I'm a 35 Y/O male and urgently need to quit this terrible habit. It's taking a toll on my life for far too long.

Found this forum because I was looking for at least one accountability partner.

My goal is to go without PM since I am married.

Look forward to being on this journey with you all

Welcome - @blahblah2930. @sirpsycho is also looking for accountability partner, worth getting in contact with one another.

I understand your thinking. It's so hard to measure up and I constantly compare myself with everyone else. Yet, sometimes I think that no one judges me as badly as I judge myself.

    Hi guys,

I had stopped PMO for about 3 years, then in the last 6 months have been back to my old habits.

I’m early 30’s and want these habits to die. I feel powerless to the instant gratification provided by smart phones. I want to stop.

    Thanks

All the best my man. 3 years is a long time but you can do it again. If one man can do it so can another. Since you've already shown you can, round 2 is just around the corner

Weekends are usually the times I find most challenging. I'm writing here to say that I find a lot of comfort and inspiration in knowing that we're all looking to change together, that we're all supporting one another to hold to our goals. Thanks a lot. I'm starting a work session now - often the rough moments when I'm in isolation. I'll check back in after. Feeling good, if nervous.

I came on here to write, feeling pretty distracted, normally the kind of terrain that leads me to break a streak. Instead of "innocuous" image surfing that inevitably leads to trouble, I brought myself here. Honestly, just seeing posts from brothers on the road helps. This work session has gone ok, not lights out or anything, but ok. There's been a little bit of forward progress. The most important thing though is that I think I'm getting through it without falling down. That is a win.
It's hard to accept little victories like a one-day-at-a-time, or one-hour-at-a-time when the day is rough, but I / we need to cheer the small battles won. Those small battles lead to, and in their way are, the major victory. OK. Just marching. Thanks for walking this same road. Yours.
