Addicted to fantasizing

    First off, i have a porn induced sissy fetish. It is the main reason i started nofap. I am not addicted to sissy porn. More the idea itself, so when I dont have too much to do, like on long car rides or on vacations, i begin to fantasize. in most cases it is only a matter of time until i stop resisting.

    I am writing here, because i dont know what to do about it. For example this year i went on a 16 day vacation with my family (which involved a 24 hour drive there and back, a lot of just sitting around, when it was too hot outside, and a lot of driving to beaches) and in about 3 days i broke.

    I just dont.know how to avoid doing it in those situations, any help would be appreciated

    If you are with family and driving, talk more, engage in conversation to keep your mind busy. If alone listen to something that engages you, audio for learning something.

    The main way is to tell yourself what a sexual addiction will cost you in life. You will miss out on reaching your full potential. A few moments of perverted pleasure will cost you everything that is worthwhile in this life and possibly in the world to come. Think about the loss and pain you will experience.

    Thanks, i dont have a licence so i always drive with someone. Thing is my family doesnt really talk that much in the car, especially on long drives. I also dont take my phone everywhere, so sometimes we drive for an hour in almost complete silence.

  8. The book isn't about curing the addiction in itself, just a tool to keep his mind busy during those long drives.

    en los viajes hablo de todo con mi esposa cuando, no hay mas que charlar escuchamos musica que nos gusta las cantamos tambien e incluso jugamos a adivinar como empieza la letra de una cancion el que acierta gana un punto, realmente disfruto de los viajes es casi imposible recurrir a PM, cuando estoy cerca a mi familia

    I have the same problem...mine's a different type of porn, but I struggle with fantasizing. The longer I'm bored and am alone with my thoughts, the harder it is to resist.

    As the others have said, distraction is key. If you're in a car then read a book (or listen to an audiobook), watch a film or play a game on your phone...if you're out and about then hike, go for a walk, play a game or read a book....find something, anything that will distract you and keep your mind off of it.

    Fantasizing is one of the worst triggers. Sometimes I fantasize about random stuff all the time and as your going through it, sex comes along and interferes. I try to distract myself or think of something else, meditate or pray. Its difficult but we must find a way out. All the best.

    Some good suggestions. Keeping your mind busy is good. For me, its about control. The only way to manage the daily minute to minute fantasizing, is to understand how to exert control over what you are thinking. Who is in charge here? Take the time daily to actively engage in a meditation practice. Learn to redirect everytime you are not focused on the current situation. It is the thing that is keeping my day counter clicking. I dont know what the fuck sissy porn is but porn is porn. Im on my longest streak in 35 years and I finally got some strength to fight back.
    You have nothing to lose. Do some research and find something that works for you. You have to maintain control.
     
  13. Reading and mediation/ relaxtion practices are good tips.
    Is there a good 'daydream' you can encourage ? a project you can work on in your head...
    Are there positive fun visualizations you can practice at these times - for example seeing yourself as the person you want to become?
