Addiction & Isolation

Hey, I was wondering about addiction and isolation. Does our addictions cause us to be more isolated from others? Do other people feel rejected by us, and then that is why they neglect us after some time? It is like our addictions are consuming us, and we don't have time for others. What do you think?

I believe that once we are stopping addictions, we try to reach out to others, and end up wondering why they don't want to talk to us. We don't realize we've left them hanging for too long...
