    Hi,
I love NoFap.org and all it does, we all know, how is this community supporting, encouraging and inspiring.
BUT, I lately noticed, that when I was somewhat bored, I turned my gaze here, to find more and more inspiring stories and struggles of you, my fellow fapstronauts. That however keeps my mind focused on struggles with PMO, rather than making me forget those.

So, for me personally, this forum works best if I go here only in dire needs of PMO or if i need to restore my faith in what I am doing. Too much of anything...

What is your opinion on this matter? Do you have different expiriences?

Well this is an interesting forum, you find people with similar issues, and people with strange issues, so at least you learn from both. It kinda remembers me about P but at the same time it saves me from watching so it's still a good tool.

I was worried I'd become obsessed with it, but, as the novelty has worn off, I no longer feel that way. I wouldn't overthink it if I were you.

There may be a possibility of addiction for some people, as there might not be enough things in their life to work toward or a lack of balance lifestyle (I'm guilty of that). In a way addictions can also form through excessive net use and online social network sites.

For me, this place is sort of like a refuge and I mean that in a positive way. There are people that can help and provide support one another.

I am addicted to this forum. Setting my abstaining from NoFap.org counter now.

  6. Ahem, I think I am. It's been 11 months I haven't done the thing, why am I still here? It's so hard to imagine moving on. Perhaps this is why some people keep relapsing with no reason. I think that someone with an addict mindset will always find replacement. When I'll move on from here I'll probably drown myself in tumblr or something, I don't know.

We addicts do need something as an outlet for our energies. . .ask anyone with long term sobriety in AA if meetings and talking to newcomers is important. Every one of them will say yes!

I need this place. . .and we need you dear!

I actually think you make a pretty good point.

Although it's obviously not an addiction for most people, it is true that it's not the best environment to be around.

Every minute spent here is a minute we're not spending hanging out with friends, playing the guitar, exercising, building a business and what not.

I say this with all (true) respect for the people who have created it. It's great that we can come here seeking for help, encouragement, understanding, etc.

I do not consider myself to have an addiction to this site. Nevertheless, for any that fear they might, I found this information which seems pretty balanced in helping us to distinguish between frequent internet use and internet addiction:- http://www.addictions.com/internet/

I just go on this website when I feel like there is a small chance of relapse. It's a lot easier to talk on this website then it is it talk about it with your friends. If anything I feel like its a good outlet though I don't think it matches certain parameters for something addictive. Its definitely a nice community.

i thought about this, but no matter how i thought, it is better to be addicted to this website as to some pornsites.

this forum helps me greatly to fight against pornaddiction - many times it was an option to prevent a relapse. just by visiting this forum and reading some threads.

    :)
