so i recently started taking ritalin , and what i have noticed is that my desire to watch porn has reduced . Its helping me fight this addiction . However when i checked i realized that it does affect dopamine receptors My question is will my dopamine receptors not recover after 90 days since i took a replacement drug !
Hey. I’m on Concerta for ADHD, and have been for most of the last 10 years—I say “most” only because I spent a few stretches of that time on other ADHD meds, before eventually going back to Concerta. During that time, I’ve dated women and successfully had sex with women. Only started having problems with erectile function with chronic porn use (now, the antidepressants I take are causing me some problems too, but that’s a whole other conversation.) So if you’re asking if Ritalin is going to cause you ED, I’d say no. I dont think it would. Take your meds. Keep not fapping. And see how things work out.
