After 10 Days

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by Deleted Account, May 10, 2016.

  1. So, I haven't PMO'd for 10 days. In that time period, I got a girl's number and went out on a very successful date with her. Today I'm going on another date with her. Obviously something is working.

Also, interestingly enough I tried LSD for the first (and probably last time) 10 days ago. The drug gave me a wake up call that I have spent my entire life in a small room away form the outside work. It scared me and now I try not to stay home at all. I am not advocating for the use of LSD or any drug but for some reason I can't bring myself to PMO. I'm aware that I'm going to probably relapse soon but I'm not sure why I'm being so lazy in doing it.

@DonDraper keep it like that. Never ever allow yourself to relapse. But if you do, try again having noted the reasons why you had relapse previously.

As the other's have said, keep up the good work! But also, I would like to say, that your little bit on LSD is fucking awesome! Seriously adding in so spice to what is, though very helpful, a relatively monotonous series of threads. While I often post similar things that others have as well, I must say that that little extra there really made me just plain fascinated by your experience so far.

  5. When I was on LSD in my room, the walls started beating massively. The room walls started closing in and my computer screen grew brighter and brighter. My desk started moving toward me and it started to take up a large portion of my room. I tried to calm myself by looking out the window but the window in my room ended up showing that I was trapped in this room. Needless to say, I busted out of that room and went outside. Upon going outside, it was the most beautiful nature and scenery I have ever seen.

The Lesson: Don't stay in your room, there's a beautiful world outside.

You just reminded me that I need to go back to my camping. I used to love that so much!
