Actually I meant right now. You said you did NoFap in the past and didn't get anything out of it. Then you went back to old habits and now you want to start again. I ask why? If you don't feel better than before, then why even do it? That's what I don't understand and I think you don't understand it either.

You had sex successfully, what's your problem now? Loneliness? Keep on looking for a girl until you find one, porn isn't going to fix the getting a girl issue, its going to keep you from getting a girl.

Try to make the question again clearly, maybe we can solve this.

Okay. Let's give it another try. I'll just try to sum up what you said and you'll try to explain why you said it in more detail than before. Maybe we just have a misunderstanding.

    1. So, you tried NoFap for a while in the past, but you didn't feel a change. Correct?
    2. Then you watched porn again, but still felt the same. Correct?
    3. And now you want to do NoFap again, but you find it difficult because you have no external motivation since you don't expect any changes (because you didn't feel any the first time). Correct?

If all these statements are correct, then why would you even want to do NoFap again? That's what I don't get.

If you really never felt any changes, then there is no point in doing it again. The only reason, why it would make sense from your perspective, would be that you actually did feel changes. But if you did feel changes, then you do have evidence that this stuff works. And such clear evidence seems to be the thing you ask for.

Indeed, but they push through the withdrawals because they do feel betterment. This betterment makes them surivive the withdrawals.

Don't get me wrong here. I'm no way trying to talk you out of giving it another try. But it still feels like you don't have a clear reason why you do it. Just hoping for potential changes after 2+ years will probably not be enough to motivate you when shit becomes hard.

Yep, that's why i think nofap is mostly placebo for kids.

  13. I hear ya man but using porn will surely make all of this worse in the long run? Many people on here got so hooked that they couldn't even get an erection anymore after watching so much porn! You might need a super long recovery.

What I said has nothing to do with placebo, but simply with how addiction works in general. At this point, it seems like you just want to prove your point in my eyes.

And let me say one other thing: Feel free to give your opinion on things, although it's very much different from what a lot of people experience. We can all live with that. But I find it rude to discredit a large amount of people by calling them "kids" and their real life experiences "placebo". That's just cheap. I'm sorry, that you apparantly don't feel a positive effect in your life, but that doesn't make anything not real.

If that means to be rude or not getting your approval, i'll take it.

Do you feel like you can improve other things in your life? Other addictions to understand and let go of?
