^^ The problem is are people really meant to live in such a huge society? Apparently, there are all these huge advancements, but I think people who lived in a small village 2000 years ago had it much better than most people do today. Convenience, safety, luxuries they aren't worth it. We end up lazy, listless, bored, addicted to all kinds of things.

IMO a socialist state is the best we can hope for. The worst is a democracy with all the idiots running everything. Fortunately a democracy can't last and eventually some tyrants or malicious power will take over. This sucks of course but it's still not as bad as a nation run by feminists, rednecks, black militants, SJW, etc.

    You said it all brother

  3. In my opinion, America is a little bit too obsessed with racism.

See, in France there is a really low murder rate, but it still happens from time to time. Some whites kill blacks, some blacks kill whites, but we don't call it "racist aggressions" each time it happens. Sometimes it's racist, sometimes not. We don't really make a difference with a murder implying two persons of the same race actually.

I'm not wanting to crush what most of you have said, I just want to start a polite and constructive debate about that.

I give my support to America, and to every victims (black, white, etc) of violence by guns. Whether it's a racist aggression or not, your problems won't be solved with guns.

    Pardon my poor English.

Well, there is no doubt that the incidents that are referred to in this thread were racist outrages. As you said yourself: sometimes an attack is racist, sometimes not. These clearly are racist motivated assaults. In England, we see racist hate crimes, too. But very few shootings - certainly not by white police officers shooting unarmed, non-aggressive black people.

  5. Why? I searched for it briefly and didn't find anything

    Well, just Google these names:
A week later a black man took revenge and shot down a bunch of Dallas Police Officers in protest. Look it up. Also there was another recent example, which was not fatal, but shows a white officer opening fire on a black man for no reason. Watch the video and ask - would this officer have done this to a white therapist?

^^ Quite possibly! The police in the USA are notorious for being trigger happy. And you all seem to ignore statistics that show substantially more whites are killed by police each year in the USA than blacks despite blacks doing more crime [ thus more interaction with police] than whites.

Let's face it, the entire "Black Lives Matter" is a racist statement. All it does is divide. Why did Hillary Clinton have the mothers of the slain black men onstage at the DNC and not include mothers of the murdered police officers ? Also, why have Michael Brown's mother there? This guy was a thug. This man charged at cops when he was told to stand down. Why he's become a poster child for Black Lives Matter is beyond me. Anyone who does this deserves to be shot in my opinion: black, white, brown, red, yellow.

I don't see it that way @Phoenix333. Why do you assume that such a statement implies that no one else matters? E.g.:
    • "Gay Lives Matter", but there is no inference that straight or trans lives do not matter.
    • "Mental Health Lives Matter", but there is no inference that those with physical issues do not matter.
    • "Pensioners Lives Matter", but there is no inference that other ages in society do not matter
It has been stated already that this phrase is in the sense of "... Lives Matter, Too". Please consider this as viewpoint.

If someone is lying on his back with his hands in the air and is unarmed, you shouldn't shoot him.

  12. Ok, in late to the party, but Tamir Rice is not a case of "unarmed civilian vs armed police." He was running around with a toy gun, which during a press conference was shown side by side with a real handgun, and as someone who doesn't know to much about guns, I couldn't tell the difference. That, as well as the fact that the orange tip was removed from the toy. The 911 caller said there was a kid running around with a gun, that may have been a toy gun. For some reason, the possibility of a toy gun seems to never have been relayed to the officers, so they were under the impression that Tamir was armed.
When the police rolled up, they shouted for Tamir to put his hands in the air. However, in the security cam footage, you can see Tamir's hand inch toward his waistband. Now, the officer, having been informed that Tamir had a gun, did the logical thing: he shot him. He aimed for the center of mass, which unfortunately was Tamir's chest. (Aiming for the center if mass is the most effective way to shoot, as you are more likely to hit your target, then if you shot say, their leg. And even if you do shoot their leg, there still is the possibility they shoot back.)
Now, while it certainly is terrible that Tamir is shot, I think there are more important questions to ask than "was the officer a white supremacist?"

    Such as:

1.) Why do such realistic looking toy guns exist in the first place?

2.) Why did Tamir have one and then proceed to remove the orange tip?

3.) How the actual fuck did he get out of the house, with a realistic toy gun that had no tip, without his parents, older siblings, neighbors, friends, anybody even, telling him that was a bad idea?

This officer was relatively new to the Cleveland Police Force, and now has to spend the rest of his life knowing he shot an innocent kid. This is not a case of white supremacy, this is a case of bad parenting, bad judgement on both Tamir's and the officers side, and bad communication.

Yes, they could. If there were others being oppressed or marginalised it may even gain traction. But you missed the point I am making. To use your example, if such a movement existed, you would not assume that sad, gay Asian guy is saying that ONLY "poverty stricken, Gay Yellow Lives Matter". He is simply saying, "poverty stricken, Gay Yellow Lives Matter, TOO".

  15. Instead of "black lives matter" I'd rather say "all lives matter".

    Hey - me, too! :)

  19. I think I've been misunderstood, or rather I wasn't clear.
I agree that the cases talked about here are probably linked with racism, but I was talking about interracial crimes in general, all over the world. A bit offtopic I know, but anyways :p

Have to improve my communication in English.
Also it's nice to have a respectful conversation with people who have a different point of view, thank you.

Sorry I misunderstood you. Your English is excellent, but I suppose ideas are hard to communicate clearly, I don't know.
Yes, it is nice to have a respectful conversation with others and to hear various opinions. Best wishes - IGY.
