There are clinical and scientific studies that show the opposite of this. Yet you keep repeating it...

Absolutely not. Is there a scientific study that show you are more attractive for women? Is there a scientific study that show nofap make you smarter? Is there a scientific study that show nofap make you happier?

You are confusing the things here, scientific studies about nofap show other things, and remember scientific studies about nofap are just a few and not very serious studies.

Where's the scientific study that show nofap make you more handsome? That's not even measurable :D

It actually is measurable. It's called face and body symmetry. Nothing to do with wanking though. you can't NoFap your face to become symmetrical :)

Maybe neuroendocrinology also has some impact on attraction in humans but that's less conclusive

  4. I suggest you try 1 year hard mode before saying anything about nofap is not bringing you any benefits

And also nofap is not about all the benefits, it is about your believes and you trust yourself that you will be a better person without PMO

There are many studies showing that porn addiction (and even overindulgence in just sex) creates a disbalance in your neurotransmitters.

    1. Especially dopamine, which you need for a healthy and smart decision making and focus.

    2. It also creates hypofrontality, where your pre-frontal cortex is shrunken to such an extend that you become, yup, more stupid. It literally gives you ADHD symptoms.

    3. Also the GABA/glutamate and endorphin-system get off balance which will send you into a hellhole of anxiety, fear, hypervigilance, obsessive, dysphoric hellhole.

This has all been scientifically shown.

Your ventral-tegmental-area, nucleus accumbens, amygdala and pre-frontal-cortex go haywire.

    4. You can even see it in brain-scans.

Then we have the empirical information of all these people experiencing depression, (social-)anxiety and all that stuff who get post-acute-withdrawal-symptoms when they quit. They talk about 1-2 years of complete abstinence (that means pure hard-mode, which you clearly haven't done and you STILL experience benefits.....) to heal a good amount of their damage.

    Go figure.

Everybody know facial simmetry is attractive, but nofap doesn't give you facial symmetry :D

Honestly, this doesn't make sense. Is it about believing and no real benefits? What's this believing thing?

About that, maybe you're right, but not seeing any improvement in 6 month and going on with hard mode can almost make you crazy...

No, not about the attraction part.

Do you have any scientific evidence for this? ;)

This question doesn't make any sense, and you know it. You also know that scientific studies about nofap (remember that nofap doesn't necessarily involve porn) are non existent. The study you talk are about no porn, not nofap.

We all know that scientifica study about all this are still too small, too young, too unaffordable.

I think nofap gives you some advantages, surely not the ones many people talks about, a i said.

  12. Maybe you aren’t addicted to porn, it seems to me that you have a decent sex life and I assume you are okay mentally. I also think that people may experience a self fulfilling prophecy about their porn use after reading hundreds of posts about how porn is ruining their life, it puts a lot of unhealthy stress on people (especially me) which can probably lead to mental health issues. Porn can have affects on your mental health if you are addicted to it, just like any addiction. But if you’re not addicted to Porn and masturbation and go on a huge fast, I doubt it will have any major benefits on yourself.

The question was actually meant to be fun

The studies I talk about are about porn, masturbation and sexual stimulation in general

This my friend, is probably the most interesting thing i read in this thread, and the only thing that can make me think that i could be wrong about this thread.

Thanks a lot for posting this, it could be the right thing at the right time. It's about point 5:

    5. The Great Salt Desert (90-365? Days)
So why is this stage called The Great Salt Desert, even though it begins at 90 days? Shouldn't this be the stage called "Freedom", or "Paradise"? Well... no. It doesn't end at 90 days; 90 days is just a way mark, an achievement, but not more. This stage is called The Great Salt Desert because it is the longest so far. Seemingly endless, it is the second last stage. This stage is also called The Great Salt Desert because it is empty. The fapstronaut who reaches this place is overall happy; the thing is: Benefits are getting extremely rare. The fapstronaut has experienced most of the common benefits, has gotten used to them and is waiting for something bigger. Except that won't come. This stage is like a saturation curve; the closer you get to your goal, the slower you go. Not noticing benefits anymore, the fapstronaut may lose his determination. His brain slowly tricks him into thinking that he is finished and can go back to his old behavior, practicing it in healthy amounts. This may lead to a relapse.

Relapses in this stage are practically harmless. Your achievements of the last 4 months won't suddenly disappear. It is vital to not trick yourself into relapsing over and over though. As if that happens, you may fall back into your old behavior. The trick to gaining benefits in this stage is slightly different to the other stages. Previously, you worked on yourself in ways of creating new habits, and getting disciplined. Now, you should try to go out of your comfort zone as often as possible. Over time, our brain tries to build ourselves a nice and comfortable spot to stay in - metaphorically. This lies in our human nature, and we can prevent this by leaving our comfort zone as often as possible. Discomfort is a sign of growth, or rather: Discomfort forces you to grow.

You're welcome bro. There's a lot of Fapstronaut who get to "The Great Salt Desert" and fail because they didn't get anymore benefits after 90 days. I did experience that stage back then. It was a streak from late 2015 to mid 2016.
Since I got all benefits that ever listed, I thought that there's nothing more I can get from this program. I started PMO-ing again and before long, I back to square one.

Give it a try one more time, and try to compare your journey with the stages, see if it match. :)
