I have been watching online porn since i was 13, and i already had my computer with internet connection, so i was already watching videos at that age.
About the kinds of porn, in 20 years i would like to say i watched almost everything you can watch.
About how much, it depends, some days i could masturbate 3 times, some days 1, but it was very rare for me to not masturbate for more than a day, for all the 20 years period.
I think porn has always been my rock, the thing i go to for solving all my problem, from when i was 13.

So, i personally think it was quite bad. If it influenced my behaviour? I practically have grown up with porn, so i can't answer that because i don't know how i would have been without it!

Ok, I guess you are right. :D

Maybe they are more confident, and that attracts women, or are just able to look into their eyes and than are noticing, that some girls are giving them attention.

For my personal experience, I want to stay forever on nofap and wish I would never relapse.

    Keep working on myself.

Thank you for your open honest opinion :)

Comparing your starting age to most of the other guys' age is relatively late. Most guys start at age 10 statistically speaking. I did start at age 10 at least. Also, it would be more interesting how long you watched, rather than when you started. That's much more important.

That's rather vague, honestly. Let's pretend, you didn't watch everything you can watch, how would you know you didn't? It would be interesting to get some exampels. Of course, we shouldn't bring up graphic detail, but some information on context would be greatly appreciated.

Again, it would be much more interesting to hear about how long you masturbated, rather than how often you did it. If it took you 5 minutes each time and you did it 3 times a day, you "only" did it 15 minutes. I personally for example, watched porn more like 3 hours every day, often even longer than that. That are completely different dimensions of porn use.

    Good point.

It's the same problem as with alcohol or drugs. What's the difference between heavy social drinker and an alcoholic? They both can have serious health consequences, but the key difference is that first one can stop drinking whenever he wants and the other just can't:

"Addiction is a primary, chronic dysfunction of brain reward, motivation, memory and related circuitry. Dysfunction in these circuits leads to characteristic biological, psychological, social and spiritual manifestations. This is reflected in an individual pathologically pursuing reward and/or relief by substance use and other behaviors.

Addiction is characterized by inability to consistently abstain, impairment in behavioral control, craving, diminished recognition of significant problems with one’s behaviors and interpersonal relationships, and a dysfunctional emotional response. Like other chronic diseases, addiction often involves cycles of relapse and remission. Without treatment or engagement in recovery activities, addiction is progressive."

    https://www.asam.org/resources/definition-of-addiction

If you find yourself in bolded text, you have a problem with P, MO or PMO, if not, good for you. Then you're like social drinker, occasionally enjoying P and MO without adverse effects. I'd say 90% of population falls into this category. Good for you, you have no real need to reboot in the first place. For us 10 unfortunate percent, PMO is a rabbit hole. No one will convince me that jerking off 5 or more times a day with or without P doesn't have adverse mental and physiological impacts on your health. Brain scan studies prove different and from my 18 years of personal observation it's a night and day difference regarding willpower, energy levels and depression/anxiety symptoms when I'm in remission and when I'm jerking off daily like there's no tomorrow. The only thing I can be thankful for is that I've "chosen" P and not alcohol or some other harmful substance as my "drug" of choice as I'd be probably dead by now if I had.

I guess I've seen some of that here. But I've also seen the exact opposite - people trying to better themselves by accepting responsibility for their future. It's not fun, it's hard work, and a lot of them wouldn't even bother if this particular area wasn't a real problem for them on several levels.

However there is something to the feeling among some of us that we're engaged in a personal struggle which is made more challenging by modern technology and a permissive culture which has enabled a flood of free, endless, highly addictive content. Ideally this should not be about blaming the world for our problems, but more about having awareness of the pitfalls around us, for those who have a tendency to fall into this particular hole.

Now see , I agree with you on your point. Some people ghat have abused PMO to a pint where there is PIED, PE, etc. have to abstain for a long period to get the neurological recovery back. I am on the senior page as Fenix where PMO is used to numb feelings. People in that situation need to abstain for awhile and get the psyche back to a healthy state of mind. Arkad is young and doesn’t have those problems.... YET... so he doesn’t understand why everyone on here is talking about the results they are getting. If he keeps it up and gets more abusive with it then he will have the same problems in a few more years..

This. Plus the fact that I have been abusing porn and MO very HEAVILY by edging for 2, 4 or even 6-7 hours on end, EACH NIGHT. This means between 1/10 to 1/3 of each 24 hrs my brain and body were fkking flooded by dopamine and opioids....

There is way too many replies here to read all of them. But I would like to chime in as well.

I myself have battled with this, a lot. I will admit tho I have had some days where I have felt the best I have ever felt, and some days the worst. No I haven’t been able to fly, move cars, or stay up for a week without needing sleep. I don’t think it’s about super powers. It’s more about your mental state and your emotional wellbeing.

Of course fapping everyday can and does cause physical harm. But definitely metal. It really really messes with your brain and desinsitizes you and makes you view people as objects, not people. It does so much harm I’m sure I don’t have to go into detail here.

Does it feel good, yes! Do I sometimes miss it. Yes. Has it done a lot of damage to my brain, absolutely.

If you went 6 months and then relapsed, to porn, or tinder or whatever you said. That’s not really that long if you have been addicted like me. Some people take a lot longer. I started very young at 11 or so and I am now 30. I used PMO at least once a day On average. I did not except to feel much different at 90 days. Especially if you have PAWS.

I myself personally don’t consider sex with a woman a relapse. I consider that healthy and a way to help your brain learn what a real orgasm is like with a human being.

I went 101 days hard mode, So at the very least, if you went 6 months hard mode and felt nothing, if you think nofap really doesn’t work let me ask you this, what are the benefits of fapping? Besides it feels good for a few seconds.

    I can’t think of anything.

I don’t think nofap is something to do for superpowers. I think it’s more of a mental thing and of course it all depends on your lifestyle as well. Nofap has made me want to improve other areas of my life such as my relationship with Jesus, my wife, kids, family, diet/exercise, career changes etc, because I’m not sitting on my butt wasting time on my phone looking at pixels and damaging my brain.

It was never less than 1 hour per session, fro 1 hour up to 3, sometimes more.

I actually start at 13 with videos, when they came out on the net, but before that i came in contact with porn magazines at 10.

Never said porn don't cause any problem, i said a total different thing, i said that no pmo is no big deal...

It won't change your life, it won't make you more attractive to womans, it won't make you more concentrated, or more intelligent, or smarter...

Anyway, if you want the proof that i had a big problem with porn, i had terrible withdrawals that lasted for the majority of the first 250 days, and when i say terrible, i mean it...

The whole superpowers thing was a load of crap and any guy out of college would know that. You don’t get superpowers because girls notice you know. Maybe because you removed hand from cock and not all worn out from fapping all the time. You actually bathed, combed your hair and not stoned or tired from being on the internet or playing video games for hours.

You have to have a level of hygiene and social experience aNd you will be able to talk to a lot of people then. I understand for guys younger than 21 it is a miracle for them to have so much energy. I would be using that to workout or do something else productive with my time ..

Semen retention increases your pheromones which will attract girls to you.
Also..every two weeks you don't cum your body reabsorbes the semen to make your bones and muscles stronger and your face looks better.

Thats completely false by all means possible. It's like saying abstaining from drugs won't make your life better. Porn is the worst filth available in our modern era. And anyone who thinks porn is not a big deal must be ignorant to the truth. Porn is even worse than what we think.
I don't get why anyone is arguing with you anymore..when this statement is enough to understand that you are full of shit.

Anyone who thinks that porn and masturbation (especially porn ) is even an arguable topic considering the tremondues life-ruining effects of it..is just a waste of time.
Arkad1 .I hope you accept the truth..after all you are the one who will suffer if you go back to that horrible habit. We are trying to teach you truth which you already know.. if you want to go back to porn or masturbation.. feel free to do so..why are you so passionate about convincing us that it's no big deal??.
It's been scientifically proven that it has nemoures harms ..so I don't get how there could be even a question about It?!.

That's an interesting thread to read and I do appreciate you sharing this story.

I think the first thing that comes to mind when reading this is how addicted were you to PMO in the first place? Most people that are doing nofap are ones that are severely addicted to PMO or at least to a point where they notice a difference in their lifestyle being impacted negatively. So if you weren't that addicted in the first place then I don't think you'll see a significant difference doing nofap.

Also the other question I have is if you were addicted to PMO in the past then how much of a difference did this impact your life in a negative way? I remember before I started fapping I still had my own moments were I felt socially anxious, so I do know that nofap won't necessarily solve all your issues if you had them before you started fapping in the first place.

Maybe you did talk about those points in previous comments but from the thread that you shared you didn't mention about these things so that's why I asked.
