Ridiculous may be an understatement for this guy.

Many teens(boys) are influenced by this guy. I hear the situation in schools in Australia is the worst. Misogynistic comments and even rape threats against teachers and even girls as young as 10.
Where are we as a society heading to?

If anyone you know is following this guy humbly ask them to stop.
I just post this for a social awareness.

There was a thread about this before, but it got completely derailed. But I posted this video there. I haven't watched the entire thing yet, but I usually like this girl's perspective.

Also, a youtuber I watch who does behavior analysis did a video about Andrew Tate that I found pretty interesting too.

I don't think this is any "new development" in society. In 2006 two 16 year old kids murdered their classmate because they wanted to make a real life Scream movie and idolized the murderers in that movie. Many school shooters were playing first person shooter games. I think when the first Harry Potter movie came out a kid jumped out of the window with a broomstick because they thought they can fly after seeing the movie. Many serial killers grew up in violent homes. Environment is not responsible for human behavior, otherwise every human would act the same if certain external factors caused certain behavior which is empirically disproven and only applies to a tiny percentage of people. Environment can shape our genetic predisposition towards something but no external factor is the root cause of verbal and/or physical violence. Parents and teachers are responsible for telling children what is right and wrong, plus we have an innate sense of right and wrong and empathy. If someone's neurobiology is not functional in those areas, that is the root cause for their behavior and is only "enhanced"/triggered by external factors/environment.

That doesn't mean of course that this guy's behavior is acceptable. I think it is completely unacceptable and disgusting, but I am just saying he cannot be held responsible for other people's behavior.

Tate is chill and successful. I like his assertiveness and his philosophy. Seems well-educated.
I am pretty sure you are just baiting with your obvious edginess but I am going to ask anyway because I have nothing better to do right now: do you actually have a rational objective argument for defending a guy who says that in a romantic relationship a woman's body is the man's property? You believe it is a "well-educated" and "chill" philosophy to reduce a person with autonomy and self-determination to an object?

Then why was he banned from social media?
He is just another crazy guy who got a blow up now. But the problem is a whole new generation of teens are influenced by him. I can't believe there are guys who support what he says.

You are just another guy who fell for his hyper-masculinity trap. All those who appear successful aren't successful.

Why are you reiterating everything the media is saying? Is Mr. Tate not successful? He is on your mind, you post about him, he gets more attention and traffic which equals more money. He is a genius. I’d rather listen to Tate than a PC slob like H3H3. I find it funny though that people care about other’s opinions more than they do their own. If you don’t like his opinion then don’t listen to him and enjoy your own life. Cancelling him only gets him more positive attention.

Oh Lord above don't remind me of H3H3.

Why are you pretending I am "reiterating" everything the media is saying? Literal quote from Andrew Tate: "Every woman that is going out with a man, she belongs to that man. That's his woman, if she wants to do OnlyFans, she owes him some money because she is his. The intimate parts of her body belong to him 'cause they are in a relationship and if she wants to sell those he has a stake in those parts of her body"
video link for reference and black and white proof.

This is some next level trolling. Accusing me of "reiterating" social media like an NPC but you yourself defending someone you actually have no right to defend because you don't even have the information to do so. Funny.

When did I say I support everything he says? Am I defending him? You’re putting words into people’s mouths just because they support someone who you don’t like. It’s sad that your hate towards another human blinds your judgement that you become the very thing you hate.

I only said he is chill and I like some of his philosophies and you went bananas and went out with ad-hominem attacks. That is not a healthy way to have a discussion nor change another person’s mind on a topic.

Nice straw man you got there. I made an argument about Tate saying men own women's bodies. You claimed that claim is just a reiteration of social media. I refuted your argument. You built a straw man. You lost.

I never claimed anything. I said you’re reiterating everything the media feeds you. It seems you are trying to troll here and pick fights here so I’ll leave it at that. I hope you can find happiness so you won’t be angry and divisive like in this discussion and learn how to behave in a discussion.

Oh man, not another Andrew Tate drama thread.:emoji_rolling_eyes:

I will tell the mods to lock this thread if the drama continues.

I just looked into Andrew Tate, and I have to say that I agree with what he's saying, he gets into his view points at about 4:00 in the video. I think that I'll start to follow him:

Interesting interview, quite an out of character one, I already suspected the guy is quite smart, still is hard to discern if some of his most clearly flawed views, root from his own values or are just part of the polemical character he portrays himself as.

There was a thread about this before, but it got completely derailed. But I posted this video there. I haven't watched the entire thing yet, but I usually like this girl's perspective.

Albeit is quite long, I do also recommend watching the entire commentary of this lady on tate, as regardless of some of the points talked not being entirely discernable of them belonging to the man or the character, the analysis is flawless, and she touches certain points that I recon belong to the man, as the expression of femininity in Tate himself.

He is quite an interesting character, after digging a bit more into it after the last thread on him.

He has some points that I agree with, and some others I highly dislike and almost find pathetic to be honest, but I honestly find quite hard to tell what is the man and what is the character after seeing more content and some more extensive interviews on him.

He is a genious regardless, as I completely believe he is no fool and showed that he can be quite meticulous with his words, what tells me, his most incendiary statements may be calculated to create waves that drived his exposure to the point this is the second thread in here in where we are discussing about him.
