Anime, series and most of tv/pc in general

I believe that forcing yourself not to do something is not a great thing. Out of that I believe that i'm slowly forcing myself to live the "amish" life, with no tv/pc and cellphone only to communicate. I strongly believe i'm forcing myself against my personality and killing a little part of me. I'm 16 and i study, do boxing, handball and calisthenics on usual, in the freetime i try to hang out but a lot of my friends study aswell for we practically all go to the same school. Should i really cut out that tech part of mine? It of course seems natural because i used not to use pc when I was young but i don't know. Any suggestions or stories to help me?

Don't force yourself to do anything you don't want to do. There are benefits I belive to using things like smartphones less but with regards to TV anime etc as a big geek at heart I enjoy a lot of that stuff I assume you do also. I belive having balance is more important case in point when I was younger and all the years I've been a pmo addict I was always playing video games and watching stuff I had no other hobbies I had no balance no life.

Now I have all kinds of hobbies weight training martial arts, socialising more etc so my time spend watching stuff is lessended greatly but I still enjoy it. You don't have to live without technology just don't let your life revolve around it.

Hope this has helped best of luck to you

It did man, I believe the hardest part of nofap is not settling. Because once you get to the point where you know practically everybody around you is a zombie, trying to become better becomes something you don't want to do anymore. In my case is happening with my way of solving stuff, not taking time on maling it better, and so I slowly have to work to wake up from this lazy state, WHERE SURELY I'M A GOOD PERSON, but having a good phisique, studying and having "pals" is not the way to fix a problem. Thanks for the answer by the way and if you're interested in anything ask me and i'll make my best to answer

Be yourself man.

Conform to the degree of not breaking any laws or your own ethics, but beyond that you should understand and take pride in expressing and being who you are.

Perhaps if everyone around you is a zombie you should try and make some new friends, Ive ditched a couple of "friends" over the years as they were not good for me and not really what I would class a friend now. A friend to me is someone who will go out of their way to help you in any way they can, be positive and good company. I know what your saying also when you mentioned how you solved problems ive had that lazy state now I belive half my life. Just take one day at a time something that has helped me be more productive and less lazy is getting up earlier but at the same time everyday and doing some exercise. It just gets my day off to a good start.
Best of luck to you!
