Another newbie

Hey everyone!

I read about the NoFap a few days ago, but didn't actually investigate it for myself until last night. I must have triggered something in my brain, because I decided right there and then I was going to try it and so consequently here I am

I've been looking at porn routinely for more years than I care to remember. And it is a routine - I'll get in from work, have something to eat, watch a bit of TV, catch up on emails, then head over to one of my favourite porn sites and empty the bins (you'll have to forgive me - I'm a Brit and we love our euphemisms ).

Problem is, after that I'll do nothing. The blast of the orgasm is followed by an mellow, comfortable inertia that will usually see me wasting the rest of the evening looking at stupid shit on youtube or whatever instead of doing something productive. Consequently the house is a mess and I have a whole bunch of projects that I started full of good intentions, but now lie uncompleted as a testament to my procrastination and fecklessness.

And I'm absolutely sick to death of it.

So I'm here in the hope that cutting out the fapping will help me focus and snap me out of my rut. This time last night I was idly surfing the web in my usual post-orgasmic daze. Tonight, right after I post this, I'm off to practise the piano - another interest that's been grinding along at glacial speed, which is really stupid as I've been paying for lessons the whole time! So I guess that's a start, but how long it'll last I have no idea.

Only one way to find out...
