ANXIETY

    2 hours into day 3 (again). Last evening and last night, I was super anxious. I have heard others report the same symptom. What's the science behind this and what do you do to combat it?

    Anxiety and depression go hand-in-hand a lot of the time, and sometimes, the anxiety *IS* depression, even though it doesn't feel quite the same. Have you ever taken medications for your anxiety?--it makes a world of difference. Talk to your doctor about it. It's just like taking medication for blood pressure or high triglycerides or something.

    I have to follow up with my doc for BP meds next week and I've been thinking about asking about this....

    I'm glad. If the subject of which SSRIs to prescribe comes up, I'd recommend "Trintellix," which is extraordinarily effective and has fewer sexual side effects than Zoloft (Sertraline) and other, older meds. I was on 200mg of Sertraline for years, and could barely reach O, no matter how much P or how tight my death grip. I'm on only 5mg Trintellix, and have completely stable emotions and much less trouble with O (apart from the trouble I've always had...)

    The most important thing is that you tell your doctor EVERYTHING.
