any advice for someone with severe ADHD?

    Distance yourself as much as possible and stay productive

    Get a blocking app

    When you get the impulse it will delay the time get up go do something else go get a shower. Go for a run .

    I've read it's common for individuals with adhd to be hypersexual and lack impulse control with that said to really quit this you need to take it a day at a time minute by minute and don't give into those moments get up go get a cold shower go for a run just keep fighting the desire

    Reduce the triggeres stress boredom and frustration can make porn an easy escape

    Beat it overcome it day at a time minute at a time just keep fighting those impulses... put up a checklist each day check off another successful day

    And basically just get out of your head out of your mind and it won't crop up so much

    @Upwards2020 alrighty, I'll then introduce a run to my morning tasks, now that I think about it, yes, a morning run would be very refreshing!

    yeah, I do lack impulse control, although meditation paired with slow breathing helps me calm down a little, and it distracts me from my impulses. distraction is what I usually use to battle my urges.

    I'll incorporate the instructions every time I get an urge I can not distract myself from.

    Take some ayahuasca for a complete reset of the default mode network, and meditate frequently.

    cut out gluten. go paleo. or go raw. but first of all, fasting (medically supervised fasting). fasting is a natural and powerful way to reset body.

  9. Plan in advance and stick to it. Set manageable goals. Take medication if it helps. Take fucking breaks and relax, maybe even meditate. I find going on walks helpful because it gives me mental space to think about my goals and priorities.

    @SickSicko mhmm, will look into it, and I'll put efforts in to regularise my meditation more!

    @Testify yep, I go on a water cleanse once in a while. my normal is three days, because the fourth day on my stomach starts to hurt :p

    @FellatiousD Alrighty! I'll start taking walks every now and then, walks really are refreshing!

    after the fast you'de better start a good diet cutting out grains first of all and even milk/cheese, otherwise is usless. paleo diet is in my opinion a good diet.

    @Testify alrighty! If I cut out on milk though, I'm going to have to take to black coffee, and I've heard black coffee is healthier than coffee types with milk, so it's a win - win :D

    stop playing videogames & try to minimize how much you take adderall. Even though it's "prescribed medication" that won't stop it from lowering T levels & destroying collagen.
