Any good blockers?

What's up people.

I am just writing to ask whether anyone knows a good blocker I can install onto my iPhone?

I have Cold Turkey Blocker on my Windows Computer, which is sublime, but it cannot be used on iOS.

I am looking for the option to block particular words from search queries, block websites and apps, and the inability to disable the blocks.

Basically I am looking for a blocker that works similarly to Cold Turkey, just for iOS.

Any suggestions would be massively appreciated!!
:)

Hi bro, thanks so much for your response.

I have just installed AppBlock, and have seen there is a strict mode that allows blocking for 99 days so I am going to install that. I was using Screenzen, but it was too easy to disable for me. I am hoping I can combine the 'Prevent uninstall' feature on ScreenZen, with Strict Block from AppBlock to make it literally impossible for me to access any of the distracting apps, or places I could possibly relapse or get urges from.

Before setting the strict mode on AppBlock I just want to ask, is it possible to add more apps/websites to the strict block after you have set it? Also, can you remove apps/websites from strict block? Just asking because I don't want the possibility to remove apps/websites from strict block once I have set it.

If you’re willing to download imazing and/or Apple Configurator you can put your iPhone under supervision and get greater control over your iPhone. Download Spin browser (game changer trust me) and block every other browser including safari.

Best blocker is to go without your phone. Use it for necessary things, like for calling and messaging. Just stop using social media or your phone and computer.

Nono, is impossible. You can't modify the rules after activate the stict mode. There are some types of "stict mode" But you cant modify the rules, uninstall the app, modify the phone settings, etc..

Thanks!! Am I correct in saying the free version only allows strict block for 12hrs and quick block for 4hrs?

Im not sure about it. Because im using the premium version since years. But surely yes. There is a cold turkey app that block the phone for "X" time and you only can call or send sms messages, and its free. Its other option.

What is the Cold Turkey for mobile? Can you tell me the name please and is it downloadable on iOS?

Covenant eyes for computer. Safe/Spin Browser for iphone but disable safari and app store in screen time restrictions. Give passwords to someone.

I agree with sikelix. What's wrong with the built-in blocker on iOS? I've been using it for years and it is very good. You can circumvent it by using some apps, but you can do that with any blocker I'm sure; if you don't want that you could block installing new apps as well, I'm sure that's possible.

TL;DR For Android use Andoff + rethinkDNS. For desktop use Plucky.
Andoff is the best app I've found to restrict app usage on android.
Any change to the device will only take effect after a set delay has passed, or if cancelled the changes will not take effect, allowing you to have time to think if its a good idea to allow or not.
The other app that this company offers is Pluckeye which is a browser that blocks images, and videos by default, you can allow specific sites as you need. Pluckeye would be the best browser for Android but it isn't kept up to date, so you cant download extensions and some sites don't work on it. Still searching for a good browser for mobile, anyone have suggestions?
