I've been on zoloft for 5 days now and my dick felt number and it took me longer to orgasm. When I did finally orgasm, the orgasm felt very mute, and I also felt a pain in the base of my dick. I've also been feeling emotionally numb too. I've decided to stop taking them and speak to my doctor.

    Anyone else?

Not taken them, but anti-depressants can lower sex drive. Known side effect. As for the other things, I've heard people describe taking these sorts of pills as "making the lows less low, but also lowering the highs" so you dont really feel happier, you just feel more level.

The drug in zoloft is sertraline. The following link explains the sexual side effects of this specific antidepressant...

  4. Did the same for me, plus if I had a few drinks it was like a huge wave of sadness being barely held back, so I stopped.
I think regular aerobic exercise, foods that help the brain and mood, and meditation are better for me overall. Maybe therapy as well.

Yeah, this is very normal for the most part, at least the taking a while to finish part. I personally did not have issues with the orgasm not feeling good or pain in my penis but that also sounds pretty typical given the issue. There are some people who take an ssri specifically for this side effect(not recommended btw), so that gives you an idea of how common it is. I saw this more as a benefit really but again that's because it still felt good and not painful, in your case it sounds uncomfortable so I'd definitely talk to your doctor about it, they've probably heard it several times with drugs like these.

My boyfriend took Zoloft a couple of years ago for anxiety. He found the similar issues to the above but also really struggled to ejaculate (probably only 4-5 times the year he was on them) and it affected his drive as he had very little urge to masturbate. He could go for ages so this was actually a nice benefit for me. He is actually thinking of going back on them whilst he starts to reboot from his porn and masturbating addiction to help with the urge to masturbate.
