Anyone else noticed how excess fapping causes black eye bags under the eyes?

I always thought the dark puffy area under my eyes was due to bad sleep, but turns out that's not completely the case. I am on 7 days nofap and my eyes look significantly more healthy and alive. The dark eye rings are significantly gone. Whenever I masturbated (and ESPECIALLY when I edged, sometimes for hours on end in some bad days) I would immedietly notice my eyes getting those puffy dark bags underneath (along with them looking dead). Sort-of like the coomer meme

Anyone else noticed this, or is this just me?
 
I mean, when you're jacking off for hours on end and not getting adequate sleep, you're bound to have dark circles around your eyes. It can be genetical, it can be due to a lack of sleep or it can be due to an iron deficiency.

The reason why your dark circles are gone is because you're getting adequate sleep and not pulling your dick for hours on end. You could always ask your doctor for advice as well.

It's definitely not sleep related for me though. I sleep just as much when im on NoFap and when im binging on pmo. My theory is that it's due to my habbit of edging for hours, which basically depletes my dopamine. So I guess when all dopamine is depleted and I'm left on 0, this can be noticable in the dark circles under my eyes. Similar to how a drug hungover would look like.
I'm honestly just looking for confirmation that this is what I think it is, as I'm not sure and there's no science around this

Dopamine has nothing to do with dark circles forming around your eyes and that isn't how dopamine works either. Please consult a doctor and seek professional advice instead of theorizing what it could or can't be. Get a blood test done, get your vitamin D and iron levels checked to be certain.
 
Yes I noticed the same thing. I would even get slightly bloodshot eyes after a few bad days binging PMO.

I don't know for sure, but I hazard a guess our natural process of cell repair/replacement that happens during sleep is out of balance. There's also a factor for screen use alone. Watching hours of anything on a screen late into the night may cause this too.
 
I have noticed the same with my eyes, makes me look 5 years younger). But hard to say why exactly fapping and dark eyes are related. Could be due to nutritional deficits as well. Definitely, a topic that researchers should look into more (Hint: they are not going to do it).

It can also be due to computer usage, not only porn usage. When i use computer in the evening, the day later i feel shit and my eyes are so heavy.
 
I suffer from this really badly. People say ‘have you got a black eye’ all the time to me.

it is related to your kidneys believe it or not. If you have dark eyes you will have lower back pain too (kidneys). This is one of the reasons we feel so tired after fapping, the kidneys are the seat of energy, and when we fap we damage them.

Good to hear someone sharing this, and I have to agree with that. Energy depletion in the kidneys may lead to problems in the eyes (which is closely linked to the liver), spine, bones, brain and knees. In addition, it may also result in hair problems, such as hair loss and white hair.

I have experienced a lot of problems in the eyes, e.g. dry eyes, bloodshot eyes, blurred vision, swollen cornea...etc. They get worse whenever I fap or edge. Of course, overusing the eyes to watch erotic stuff also contributes to eye problems.

I also have 3-4 white hairs and increasing hair loss(slightly) will it go away after leaving this thing?

Came to comment on this, saw people already talking about it, kind of proud of this community.

But yes, to put it bluntly, it wrecks your kidneys, that also in consequence wrecks your liver, and leads to everything mentioned above.

Ah, and also specially tinnitus and earing problems, as kidneys is related with the ears, and liver with the eyes, the white hair and hair loss is not just an kidney specific problem, but in this case it is related as kidneys hold the "essense" of the body and if this gets depleted causes premature aging.

Yes, my body feels depleted and weak after excessive PMO, especially if i repeat several times a week. My eyes looks sunk in like i have not slept for a week. Black rings around and redness i the eye.

Sometimes i even get backpain, like something with the nerves.
Its not becouse i sit long time when i PMO becouse i also game alot and that does not make me feel this way, its specific to when i do excessive PMO.
My face also starts to feel numbed and sometimes like a got a tight headband on my head.

Btw my days are not correct, have been away from the forum for a year, need to reset.

It's a awkward thing, I too experience these symptoms to clarify, we all practically see this, but when we search on internet, it says "scientific research has stated there is no connection between black eye patches and excessive M" but majority of us experience these
 
Look this up on the internet and it’s the usual suspects at the top of the pages dismissing the link between fapping and kidney damage.There used to be lots of info on this subject on there, however these days Google has removed them. Take from that what you will. These days you have to search out books to find it.

Although anecdotal, we know from many who post on here have complained of this issue and I know for a fact, when I’ve fapped that my energy drops like a lead balloon and the eyes look very dark. If I don’t fap, low and behold the reverse happens, but of course this isn’t ‘scientific’ is it..
