Anyone here get rid of a hard social anxiety?

Well in new enviroments i always take ages to start a conversation with anyone, i am im a 'course' 'college' i dont know how write in english of computing, is already six months now and i dont have any friends, not because people are not interested in me, is because i have anxiety of start conversations with 'strangers' and even more anxiety of large groups of people, and everybody here seems like to talk with everybody and i feel isolated, anyone here beat this with nofap?
