Anyone know how to stay vigilant indefinitely?

    Question: what do you do to keep from slipping into complacency? Put another way, I think the biggest challenge to sobriety is not allowing oneself to slowly get comfortable or relax your efforts. Do you have any thoughts on how to not get comfortable?

    I'd take advice from Alcoholics Anonymous...once an addict always an addict. I think it's important to stay connected to the NoFap community unless you have SAA meetings to attend. It not only helps others trying to make it to where you are, but it helps you remember where you've been, and give you vision about where you're going. It's when we get overconfident in our sobriety that we see ourselves relaxing. Keeping in touch with an AP on a regular basis will also help stay strong and on top of your goals.

    I would stay start routines. Setting goals. Discipline yourself. Make your life as busy as possible and you won't have to be that vigilant. Especially if you spend time with real women.
