You keep circling around the heart of the matter. You say that seeing someone naked is the driving mechanism behind sexual attraction and also seeing them naked is simultaneously killing said capacity for attraction. It’s paradoxical and antithetical to what we observe in nature, not only amongst other animals but amongst those humans that are still nude. If nudity is no longer a novelty, porn loses one of its greatest allures which is the presentation of nudity. There is a stark difference between being stark naked and being sexual: a woman bathing is not sexual, whereas a woman in a burka giving a strip dance is. That most here struggle with seeing the difference is demonstrative of our problem. The two are very clearly different, but porn has addled our brains so much that we can’t see the two for what they are and instead sexualize both.

Plus there’s research showing trends of increased confidence, sociability, and positive views of one’s own body associated with social nudity, so again: gg no re.

It's not that I think it's unhealthy, it's just that I don't think that I can do it without checking out girls left and right. That would increase the chances of relapsing a lot. I want to do it though.

I'm not in alignment with the portion of this community that thinks there is something wrong with nudity and sexuality and that it needs to be overcame. Porn is a separate issue for me as I feel it has negatively effected my masculinity.

Now I just try to get my masculine, competitive edge going in the challenges as a start.

 

Sounds like more shit I didn't sign up for . Simple man simple tastes and everyone should be entitled to some common decency there's a time and place and it's not walking down the street . I find more attractive people more attractive even if fully clothed . There are too many obvious reasons why humans don't walk around naked

 

I disagree with alot of the idea of body positivity.
