Are circumcised men less likely to masturbate?

Cutting your eyes out would eliminate the porn you watch, but I don't think that's a wise choice. I don't really think it matters and as a gerenal rule and body modification to solve addiction sounds like a bad idea.

According to the surveys conducted by Edward Laumann of the University of Chicago, (and these surveys are universally recognized as the most methodologically sound ever done) circumcised men masturbate MORE than uncircumcised men.

On a personal note; it's the only penis I have. I like it. Every woman I have ever made love with liked it. Whatever anyone else posts pro or con cut/uncut makes not one fucking bit of difference to me.

 

Well... I’m intact, so I don’t know how it’s like to be circumcised as we don’t do it as much compared to ~60-70 years ago, but I’m sure it’s not like you suddenly have a dead, insensitive penis lol. They still have an inner foreskin and the sensitivity that comes with that, it just isn’t long enough to cover the entire thing.

Plus, do keep in mind that porn and masturbation addictions are those of the brain also.

 

Sometimes I can't change everyone's mind about circumcision I know it gave me post traumatic stress I have to heal from. I think anyone who had neonatal infant circumcision or forced child circumcision has to have severe post traumatic stress. People who don't think they have it are in a state of cognitive dissonance/denial. But I can't fight someone else's denial. They have to see it themselves. It is very challenging to me sometimes to just realize some people will go on thinking what they think. And what should I care? I mean I like when someone hears me and agrees. But the main person whose post traumatic stress I gotta heal is my own. So... Actually the agitation I feel when other people think circ didn't harm them... Is a symptom of PTS... I hope to one day kinda not mind as much. It would just be healthier for me I guess. The only benefit I would gain from someone else healing from PTS would be like a butterfly effect. Its not like I get "rewards in afterlife" or "get paid" or anything.

 

I am going to try and anser some of the questions asked here about circumcision and masturbation .
I was circumcised at 33 years old , before I was circumcised I masturbated a lot like morning and night and sometimes in-between , I was quite addicted to masturbating and my sex drive was out of control , after the circumcision it was much harder to masturbate.
The circumcision was don very tight when I am now erect there is no loose skin on my penis to use for masturbation
due to the health condition that I suffered from the doctor when doing the circumcision had to remove all the soft sensitive skin of my foreskin , this left the scar line about 5mm half cm under the head of my penis.
loosing all the soft skin of my foreskin it has impacted on sensation , the only sensation left is in the head of my penis now.
in my situation just trying to masturbate is not a thing that is easy to do any moor, before my foreskin was removed it use to be so easy waking up in the morning with a very hard erection , and just putting my hand around my penis and just stroking it till it climaxed , masturbation use to be so easy to do, after circumcision I would have to put a plastic glove on my rough hands because my hands are so rough due to manual labour , and then using lube and rubbing the head of my penis does work but having to do all that just seams to spoils it.
masturbation is a habit when you do it a lot it becomes very hard to stop, in my situation circumcision did stop me from doing it as much and made it much harder to do.
I am now married and my wife likes my tight cut penis very very much, I take longer to climax so this is just great for here, sex after circumcision is very very nice , it does take a long time to get use to using the penis again after you have your fore skin completely removed , I no longer masturbate I now leave my penis up to my wife to take care of and she likes me doing that.

 

Well, I guess we just got the answer as to whether circumcision decreases sensitivity or not. I'm glad it worked out for you.

 

A female perspective here. I think circumcision probably does make the penis less sensitive. Guys I've known who've had it done could last longer. They also masturbated less, or not at all. Plus if you're into karezza (orgasm-free sex), with a cut guy there's direct contact between vagina and glans, whereas with uncut the foreskin gets in the way. So from a female POV I think circumcised is better. I'm doing 365 days clean before dating again, but it's definitely a must-have for when I look for a partner after then.

 

My wife says the same about cut men a cut man lasts so much longer having sex and.
I was cut at 33 years old at the request of my wife and sex is much better after than before, my wife just loves the tight cut shaft now and I am in much more control of orgasam than before I come when she is finished now.
It does take time to get use to sex after been cut {circumcised}, the first time I had sex after my forskin was removed it felt very bad but over a few months I really learned to liked it , yes it is much less sensitive it takes much more time to reach a climax sex lasts much longer now , I have to do deeper longer thrusting with my penis into my wife Vagina to reach a climax now and that really gets he hot and worked up , we are enjoying our sex life like never before, I never have to ask her to do oral now she just likes it now she just tells me her cut man is so clean.
I remember starting masturbating at 4 years old and maybe even younger I use to use my for skin to masturbate , I started this because i saw my older brother doing it. As far as masturbation goes it is very hard to do it with out a for skin you need oil or cream to do it. It is not easy to do with out a for skin I really believe that if a boy is circumcised tightly as a baby he would not masturbate till he reached puberty.

If anyone reading this is deciding to get a circimcision don just remember you can't un do it once it is don so think carefully about it and I would recerkmand a high tight stile that means leaving all the inner skin soft skin intact.
The loos of sensation of the penis after circumcision comes from the head of the penis been uncovered and drying out, the head of the penis is a internal organ it has the same skin as internal organs of the body has , when the for skin is removed the head of the penis changes to become the same skin as on the out side of your body.
This change takes place over about 3 to 6 month , this is were the los of sensation comes from.
The soft skin on the inside of the for skin the frenulum loses almost all of its sensation due to this change.
After a number of years of been circumcised there would not be much difference in los of sensation if all the inner skin ,,frenulum,, was removed or not, the end result is much the same.
I have noticed that there is very little sensation in my for skin ,,frenulum ,,now it is no more sensitive than the skin on my legs and arms now

 

That's good. I think if a low and tight style is done and the frenulum removed it can be less sensitive still. Maybe worth considering? I had an ex like that and he could barely climax, kept going for hours.

 

When I wrote my last post about circumcision I forgot to say that sex is just as nice after circumcision the climax is just as nice it just takes much longer to arrive there.
My hole approach to having sex now has changed.
Before I was circumcised I could only last about 2 minutes sometimes not that long, I was very premature , every women wants longer than that.
Sex was something that I use to be very insecure about ,I was so premature , now I can go as long as she needs and that is very important to me , after sex both people need to feel for filled with each other.
If you are a man that is just out to satisfy himself in sex and not worry about the women involved,,, you may not like the change that occurs after have your for skin removed.

But reading these posts really makes me wonder. I was masturbating on a daily basis and I can barely stop myself from ejaculating now that I've stopped . . . If I had a foreskin, I would be totally screwed!

Removing the frenulum? Oh my gosh, I didn't even know that was a thing! I have seen penises like that, without much of a head. Was there any loss of sensation for you?

I would think that having the frenulum removed would mean less sensation for the female partner, but wow, if he could keep going for hours that might be totally worth it!!

And even better if he doesn't climax I imagine. Climax is overrated (mind that this is coming from an orgasm addict), because if he can stay erect and not climax, that's all the more sensation for the two of you without the mess and less risky, too

 

Ive been circumcised since birth and i feel my PMO problem is just as big as anybody elses here. I dont think that circumcision really has that big of a connection to sexual habits. Which articles are you talking about, if you ask men who have had it they wouldnt want it any other way. Its healthier and the women love it.

 

Just recently talked to a guy who had a radical low and tight circumcision with the frenulum being removed in his late 20s. He told me that after circumcision he still felt urged to masturbate, but did it way less, because he felt less sensation, it took him longer and he needed lube. So a radical circumcision does seem to help for masturbating less, but doesn't completely stops it. His Sex life he said also changed, but actually for the better. It generally took him longer to climax which synchronised him with his girlfriend. Apparently she was happy as he could control himself better during sex which helped him to address her needs.

 

Sounds good. Definitely prefer them that way, the more skin removed the better.

 

I was circumcised in my mid-twenties. Low tight, because my girlfriend liked that best. After that my need for masturbation significantly decreased. I just thought about it less often than before because the penis was no longer so sensitive. In addition, it had become more cumbersome and took longer. Too many times in a row is no longer possible, because then it becomes sore. But I'm happy with it.

 

Hi friend: I was circumcised for health reasons in 2011. Result I masturbated almost every day as soon as I was able to after the operation. Insensitivity of the penis is a fact, but if you return to normal penetration and elimination of PMO ejaculation you will have pleasure too. Circumcision masturbation becomes dry and wet (saliva, oil, etc ...) does not want to be a trigg, this but only physiological evidence. Everything else is subjective, or nonsense.

 

Hello Friend. I was circumcised at 40. The surgeon was exceptional. Aesthetically an excellent job. I had a severe tight phimosis, continuous prostatitis and I risked damaging my partner. DOlore I had it for 15 days after the surgery, shortly. Then everything improved, only the sensitivity, but because I've always done PMO. Now I'm getting to the first 90-day streak, when I have relationships with my partner again, I will see how it goes, also because I suffered until 82 days ago from delayed ejaculation.
