Porn teaches many unhealthy perspectives. Just one of these is transforming you into a voyeur.

A voyeur is someone who gets sexual pleasure from secretly watching other people having sex or taking their clothes off. A person who obtains sexual pleasure or excitement from the observation of someone undressing, having intercourse etc.

The thing about porn is that everything about it is fake and it promotes dangerous and unhealthy messages about sex.
Even masturbation is a mock up of intercourse. But the reality is that there is no one else there. It is a solitary activity.

 

What we consume has a huge impact on us.

I proved that to myself first hand when I started reading some Chinese books designed for language learners that are written entirely in Chinese characters.

After just reading 30 minutes per day for a few weeks I noticed the influence it had on my dreams.

Then I was angry and ashamed at the hundreds or thousands of hours of garbage and filth I've consumed! Knowing that it would have influenced my subconscious just the same!

 

It will get better, this is just the result of the past, and it will disappear over time
