Hey Asgardian! Welcome back! Good to see you here again.
In this challenge, once you reach a certain level, you never lose it. You can only go forward. So you still have your passport from before, and it still has that Afghanistan stamp in it. So since you are at 5 days right now, in 5 days you will be due for a trip to Albania. Enjoy!

Congrats Zori! That is awesome that you got to spend time with the local tribes. Most people tend to be disappointed with their experience in Angola, but you've certainly made the most of it. Glad you enjoyed your trip.

    Australia
I first stopped at Cairns. It was beautiful and interesting.
Adelaide was next; it had a lot of churches and was laid-back and quaint. The sunset was beautiful.
Then I went to Tasmania. I could not miss that. I saw dolphins, penguins, and seals! The white beaches were stunning.
Perth was a lot of fun. It is capital of Western Australia.
I checked out lots of venues in Brisbane for the music. We loved spending time outdoors in the great weather.
Next, we went to Kakadu National Park and met some aborigines. The scenery was spectacular. There are tons of ancient rock paintings, and the natural formations are amazing.
Melbourne, the country's second largest city, had good music too, and lots to do and eat.
I could not miss the largest coral reef system on Earth, visible from space, the Great Barrier Reef. The fish were too cool.
Next up was Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Uluru was very distinctive and red. This national park is owned by aboriginal people, and has great spiritual significance, so we checked that out at a museum.
Sydney wrapped up our trip. We went to several interesting and educational historical sites, and relaxed.
All in all, the trip was spectacular, and I would love to go back any time.
I am extremely grateful to have stayed pornography-free for 90 days so that I could visit Australia. Thanks for sharing my trip with me!

  8. First time I heard about the concept of corule after visiting Andorra

Trip started from Androra la Vella, the capital of Androrra.

Bus is actually the best mode of transport within the city.

Took a hike in the valley as the 1st adventure of the trip.

Skiing sessions in Vallnord was epic, with snowboarders from across Europe visiting it.

    Visited couple of ancient churches.

Spa sessions were also relaxing back at the hotel.

Overall, Andorra is a small but scenic country and it was fun spending a couple of days exploring it.

I've saved up for my passport (and watched the video), but I've been so busy that I haven't had the time to order it yet. Hopefully I can have it issued before my trip to Afghanistan in 2 days :)

@intso, it's funny how everyone in the world knows who Mother Theresa was, but so few know anything about Albania (including not knowing that M. Theresa is from there).
@DudeAlex, that is the most thorough report I have seen of Australia yet. Great job! It seems like you really took advantage of your time there.
@crazyaf, skiing and spa sessions - the yin and yang of winter activities! Andorra is definitely the place for that. Nothing like treating yourself well in the mountains!
@PeterGrip, Passport Issued!!! :emoji_customs: Welcome to the Travel Board. Just two more days to go till your first trip!

Nice work everyone! So glad to see the progress. Travel Board Updated!!

10 days have passed and I have returned from my trip to Afghanistan.
As I'm a nature kind-of-guy, I hiked through a region called The Wakhan Corridor, which lies in an odd elongation of Afghanistan, sharing borders with Tadsjikistan, Pakistan, and China. It's a mountain range, with a a valley almost cut out along the center.

Only one unexpected layover on my way to Albania. It was a great trip, I took a food tour (the dough ball pancakes dipped in honey looked the most appetizing!) and drove along the coast to see some of the small beach towns frequented by the locals. The capital, Tirana looks like a hip town with tons of cool architecture!

Just back from Antigua and Barbuda. A wonderfully peaceful time, much of it spent on the beach in the shade of a palm tree, reading books and listening to the waves crash on the shore. Some short excursions on sail boats along the coast. Pure relaxation!

Alright, it's been 11 full days since the last time I checked in, and I haven't relapsed since, sorry I'm not great with checking in, just doing a number of challenges. Going to head out to my next country!

    Here's my Afghanistan report:
Afghanistan is a beautiful country. Rugged and rough the people there are often wind swept and dark from many days in the sun. I explored the northern part of Afghanistan with a backpacker who showed the beauty of the way of life. They are a 3rd world country and they have been hurt exceedingly by the Taliban.

The food there looks amazing and the people seem nice although they seem untrusting which I would understand since they live in such a dangerous country.

I took a tour around a couple different cities, and I enjoyed seeing the markets and the food vendors. Next time, I'll have to explore more cities!

    I am off to Albania!

I'm new to this site but find this challenge very interesting, I think it will be fun, so I would love to join. I just completed 3 days without P, and watched the introduction video. Can you issue me a passport?

    Thanks!

@Ippolit and @Zori - Nice work on leveling up! Looks like you both took advantage of some well deserved beach time.

@dandausa - Thanks for the report! I'm a big fan as well of bonding with backpackers on the road. Congrats on making it to the main section of the board. You have been awarded the Hatching Chick trophy!
@Steven1983- You got it! Congratulations. And thanks for adding this challenge to your signature! Passport Issued!! [IMG]

i went to Algeria and i found Constantine particularly huge! looks like an old landscape.. but the bridge and cars remind u that it's in modern times!
and the peanuts candies, we also have sth like those here but more basic like no spices
Constantine at sunset with those cliffs is just an amazing scenery, memorable!
