Arousal decoupled from Erection

It goes the other way too - getting an erection without the mental arousal.

 

Is it possible that your arousal is taking place elsewhere in your body? Sometimes I feel aroused and it's going on in my prostate, no erection but definitely high sexual energy going on.

 

I get what you mean. When I do think about my fetish it's actually cool that I do get aroused most of the time, but I don't get erect. This maybe due to removal of the effect of pornography, which escalated my fet to anotha level.

Sometimes I don't even get aroused when I think about it - but if I think about it long enough inevitably I do get aroused. I think this arousal that you're getting may not be anally related, but perhaps from a dopamine release within the brain. And the arousal could be solely focused there too.

 

This is intetesting because I don't make an association between my prostate and my anus. I mean, I know the doctor's probably going to get to it that way but i associate it with my reproductive system, not my digestive system.

 

Don't worry, it's normal to feel arousal in the prostate, as you will quickly notice if you watch a diagram, a lot of the male sexual organs are internal. Nothing to do with anal sex or homosexuality. It's just a mechanical consequence that the prostate is easily reachable through the anus but that's not the only way it gets stimulated. Contractions of the pelvic floor muscles or even simple movements naturally stimulate them if you are aroused enough, as you are surely going to be on a hard mode streak. Whatever you do it will leave your body as pre-cum (not containing sperm), either through a woman, a wet dream, or ...

 

They are two different things.
I used to go to strip clubs and only once i got an erection.
I also used to go to brothels. I get an erection there but didn't use it because i was on SR.
I stopped all visits to such places 2 months ago once i knew that arousal is harmful to my reboot.
