Ask me anything about the ways to increase Testosterone

  1. I dont workout often but need to. I'm getting results back soon. I'm really in a bad place between this flatline and this stuff. Like I'll never be able reproduce. Like what, TRT is the only thing that can boost it?

    I would never recommend TRT before trying out a planned diet, supplementation and training regimen.

    What's your body-fat percentage ? Most men today are low-T because of too much body-fat. Simply losing that fat can do wonders for your T.

    Well why not start with testing then - are at home T tests accurate? Are there tests besides free testoserone, or should you do several tests or what's the best way to get a read in the first place?

    Also a follow up Q: I would imagine the more progressive thinking would not necessarily agree with what's considered the normal range by the mainstream even if you're older. If things like body composition makes a difference then I'll bet if we compare a sedentary guy that's out of shape with someone that's fit then the fit guy will have a higher level of T right? But then again I don't know of they have a wide range anyway and you just want to be on the high end maybe?

    Those reference ranges are indeed a joke.

    Here is the usual scenario:

    1. Man experiences the typical symptoms of Low-T.

    2. Said man goes to the doctor to get tested. Doctor says: "Your Testosterone is fine. You are at 500ng per dL. You are fine."

    3. Man accepts his condition as "fine" because a Doctor said so.

    I personally like to stay above 800. The benefits cannot be overstated. Also, bear in mind that yes, a fatter man is purposefully giving himself a handicap. Body-fat will convert most of his T to Estrogen. Get rid of body-fat and you magically get more T.

  7. So I just got results back from a lab today.

    total: 473.4 mg/dl
    Free: 12.9 pg/ml on a range between 8.7 and 25.1

    range is average between men from 19-39. I'm 32

    Did you go through docs office or was it a home test? Not sure if accuracy is less with the home with these..

    How are you feeling with those levels ? Energy, general well-being, etc.
     
  10. Energy? I mean I workout and stuff. I've had depression all my life and used to workout too.

  12. I eat three square meals a day - sometimes I have 3 eggs at breakfast. Chicken, and I cook steak every now and then.

    No carbs and extra fats ?

    My advice: Add some fruits and vegetables, healthy fats and complex carbs.

    Well, I have one big question. I have azoospermia, also small testicles. I have high levels of FSH and LH, but low level of T. I tried for yeras now a lot of different suplemments, exept T. They didn't help. I still have small testicles and I don't produce sperms. For months now I am on healthy vegan diet, but still nothing. Also, 20 days after last porn video. Also, very strange, I have low blodd creatinine, which means that I don't have enough muscle. 190cm tall and 97kg weight.
    My main goal first is to produce sperms somehow (but every doctor says that T supllements would even make it worse), and second, to first in my life become stronger man.
    Is there some really good solution, because I searching for it for years?
    Maybe I don't exercise enough, but it looks like am weaker and weaker, instead of getting some muscles. I"m also a pharmacist, and beilive that there must be some connection with my T level and testicles which cannot produce it enough.

    Yes, I ate a lot of meat, but still quite balanced diet. Now, for two months, with few exceptions, only healthy vegan food

    What's your opinion on low carb diets?

    Keto really worked for me in dumping a lot of weight, and we know that fat holds on to oestrogen.

    I'm not looking to get super jacked or anything, just fit, I know it's attainable with a keto based diet, but I'm wondering if I'm gimping myself somewhat.

    The main reason I'm sticking to keto is I find myself with some metabolic issues, not diabetic but probably should be, and carbs are really bad for diabetics, or at least the types that spike insulin. If I try to eat a lot of veggies I just get bloated and gassy, it's not a fun time, and my body just seems to get along with fat and protein, the weight just drops off me, mixed with some fasting too.
