Awful pictures inside of my head

    Hello lads & ladies. I hope that you are fighting against your sexual urges and I hope that you be and are doing progress.

    I would love to seek some advice from some of you guys, because there is some awful pictures of some really hot women inside of my head. I can't get rid of 'em. I don't want to relapse, and I don't want to think about them. I can't believe that I'm realizing that I destroyed my entire life.

    I don't know what to do, I don't want to think about these women.

    Meditation and yoga. If yoga is not your thing then just meditation. It is tough at first because you have to learn how to concentrate. Learn to close your eyes and concentrate and learn breathing exercises. First set to 5 minutes then 10 then 20, etc. I know folks who can rock this for 48 hours!

    Also as more advance as you go learn about the concept of achieving Flow. You can read more about it by grabbing the book The Rise of Superman by Steven Kotler.

    Sounds like what you need to do is to learn how to both clear and free your mind. I am having the same kind of issue as you because during sex I need to run porn scenes in my head for me to fully enjoy myself and orgasm.

    Don't fight the urges cuz they are stronger than you. The more you say no, the stronger they will get. You can avoid them though by distraction such as listening to music, taking a walk, jogging, running, working out, cleaning your home out, calling a friend and most importantly staying away from internet etc.

    Like GSarosi said, meditation will also help but don't do it while you are going through urges and triggers. Good luck!

  4. there are some great meditation music videos on youtube, lots of different sounds from relaxing to some a bit more energetic to suit all tastes, i find these are a great way to refocus the mind relax and forget about porn, obviously you will need internet for that so be carefull and go "directly" to this music in order to avoid triggers,or buy some of this music on cd if you want to avoid the internet alltogether! if your feeling really energetic and stressed then listen to some heavy metal(i know its not to everyones liking but works for me) lol, also playing the drums or some musical instrument, drums or precussion instruments work best, even if you sound like shit its a great way to destress and good fun too! you can get electronic drums that dont annoy the neighbours, or cheaper options like bongos or the cajone box drum are great fun and not too noisy etc!
    and just like the guys said above, meditation , excercise and keeping busy!

    I just came back from my morning bootcamp class. I am off today due to Good Friday. If any of you guys ever have the chance and opportunity to attend one please make the effort to do so. It is sooooo worth it. Once you are pushed to the max and truly sweat it out the natural boost in your mood will immensely help with your recovery from all of this.

    GSarosi thanks a lot for your method I really appreciate it. What are the difference between meditiation and yoga? Isn't yoga some sort of meditation o_O? - For now it doesn't matter if I'm or if I ain't into yoga I just need to get rid of this :D

    Fight for life: thanks a lot I just went to the gym to work out! And it definitely did help!
    I think I will abstain from music, because I believe that my urges grow as I am listening to music. Whenever I search for music there usually are pictures of half naked women otherwise they be talking about sex or other kinky stuff.

    Yoga is a form of meditation yes. Yoga also involves a physical aspect. It is a form of workout and requires strength and flexibility. So it is mind and body. Meditation is all about the mind. It is all about taking control of your mind and inner peace as they say. It involves lots of quietness. Sometimes you don't even hear a voice or noise for hours.
