Hi there, this is my first post. Even if no one reads this or replies, I just have to let it out. I'm a man, 23 years old, and I am a porn addict. Yesterday I tried to quit porn, and today I failed.
Basically nobody knows I'm an addict, and I suffer from a strong anxiety disorder, which I suspect is somewhat fueled by my pornography consumption (almost every day for the past 12 years).
I have tried to quit so many times, and I just don't know what to do and it's making me mad. Anyway, I don't want to stop trying, but I'm running out of ideas, and feeling a little hopeless right now.
So I was thinking, if I could block all the porn in my computer and my phone, then I know for sure I wouldn't do it anymore. But I don't know how to do that permanently. So here I am. Any help?

  2. Porn free radio.com. Check that podcast and site. Bottom line is that if you're here you're on the right track. Just need to get specific.

  3. Also 23 year old man here. My advice is to stop M as well. Ultimately the desire to masturbate is what fuels the further desire to consume pornography. If you focus on avoiding and fighting those triggers to m and ridding yourself of that habit you will find it simpler to avoid pornography because your focus is on the root cause. Porn blockers might be a step in the right direction but not a permanent solution. God bless.

Twelve years. Dawn. Well, first of all, I would recommend you to start tracking your triggers. I don't think blocking porn websites helps so much if you don't leave habits that can lead you to them. Social media uses to be a great danger because of the triggers. My recommendation is to quit from it forever if it is possible. Of course, idleness is the greatest of all problems because can lead you to social media.

The fight against PMO addiction is not isolated, this is a move that covers all domains of life. If you have things you should do, do it. Don't lose time. If you are putting effort on productive tasks, than 1st you will have no time for P, 2nd you will be too tired for it and 3rd you will see how gratifying is to use your time and effort with things you jugde to be valueble.

I recommend this text for everyone: https://www.yourbrainonporn.com/too...my-thoughts-on-rebooting-extremely-long-post/

Start a journal and stay strong.

Hey man, I'm in the same boat as you, 23 years old and discovered porn at 12 years old. Porn blockers are good to start out with, but they are easy to get around. They are more of a deterrent than anything. You have to eventually get to a place where you resist looking up porn websites, pornstars etc. I'm happy to chat if needed, as I've struggled recently too.
