Be like Arjun the epic character of Mahabharat

One who control his senses and win over himself can do anything. Arjun asked lord Krishna how to control this senses... then lord replied- to control the senses ,we have to control the mind. The mind can be controlled by two swords ,one of vairagya(i.e detachment, renunciation etc) and the other of abhyas( i.e discipline and practice).

Meaning - your mind keeps on wandering becoz of your senses ... u have to have control of it by knowing that U are not ur mind and U are the master of it by detaching yourself from the desires( same as Buddha sermons) and while doing this activity your mind will deviate again and again then you have to bring it back and attack it with the sword of discipline. This will lead to the liberation of yourself.

Note- this does not mean u have to be inactive to be detached. U have to do ur work, u have to take care of ur family,ur mom ,dad , u have to love ur wife or gf. This is not pleasure. This is ur responsibility. But masturbating is a desire to get satisfied and u have to leave it.

 

Urges come and go . It is we who have to decide whether we stand tall or give in to urges. We could easily learn from an Indian monk Swami Vivekananda. He has told the problem does not lie in the outside world. By seeing a beautiful lady or watching porn,its our inner emotions which give rise to that lust. When u are aware of it consciously and visualise it going in ur mind , u can also win over it by controlling it. So u have to control ur thoughts and suppress that lustful thought. This can be easily done through a counter thought. I mean to say u have to constantly practice holy thoughts or motivational thoughts or just study ,meditate do yoga , exercise anything to divert urself and then it will become ur character one day. It will be ur habbit and u will be relieved of the urges.
