I know exactly what you mean by ‘impulsive mindset’.

For me the problem lies in what I do. I had been on adventures abroad, travelling, working, meeting new people, etc during my 100 day streak. But now I’ve just been sitting at home, doing nothing, and it feels like it just doesn’t matter anymore. There are a couple of things I’m currently waiting for, after that I can get to action and experience life again. I’m sure that 100 day streak was not my last, but the circumstances need to be better than this. I’ll be back.

  4. I appreciate the encouragement! Also, the information you have shared is really helpful. Fortunately, I have steadied the ship and did not binge.

Coming back to this post. I know exactly what you mean. When things slow down it’s hard to remain motivated and see the purpose in what we’re doing. I know without a doubt if I broke my streak it would take me weeks before I started a new streak and kept to it. That’s why I’m really trying hard here. Porn doesn’t bring long term benefits, it only takes from you. And the biggest thing it takes is time.

You understand me. It’s been 4 months since you last PMO’d. That’s worth a lot, probably more than you realise right now. I want to tell you, please keep going with your life, keep doing what you’re doing, don’t just sit around and think you’ve made it. Don’t ever take your streak for granted, don’t ever get cocky.

    Day 0/22
I've PMO'ed today, but I'm not giving up. I'm doing everything I can to get back on the right track, but I would like some help.

It started in the beginning of May; I caught a cold (that was obnoxiously persistent), then I was out of my routine (that made April a great month) for over 2 weeks. Then persisting towards the end of May, I was over the old, but still out of my routine. I no longer felt accomplished or productive.
When the cold started already, I felt scared to lose how much more accomplished I felt throughout April for sticking to a routine, and working towards goals.
Because I didn't feel accomplished throughout May, it lead into stress, and depression, which I ultimately relapsed today. I know what to do to get back on track, but I would really like some help. I know if I stick to a routine, and keep myself productive, I feel accomplished and fulfilled, and no temptations.
I'm sure I will run into more obstacles in the future, and I need some help in knowing how to deal/manage them, or work around them altogether.

  16. Day 2 of 26 Still struggling and my energy is so low and sleep has been disrupted. Just need to fight through my current malaise.

Biggest lesson I’ve learned: what matters most is how you behave when no one is looking. When there’s a window to PMO but you choose to do something else it’s a huge achievement.
