Go back to page 84 and my explanation is there, in a reply I made to Henry. EDIT: Sorry to see you are back to day zero. Wishing you well with getting back on track.
I only visit 3 threads here. This is not a place that allows a free exchange of ideas, so I'm not interested.
You're absolutely right, and it's so blatant that is staggers me people believe it to be anything otherwise. I've had people on here tell me to kill myself because I criticised a mod, had prominent users stalk me across threads to harass me, and nothing was ever done about it. But if I post something that goes against the hive-mind? Well damn, throw me in jail and lock away the key. Literally today a discussion was being had about the effect porn can have on sexuality, and it was getting pretty intense but otherwise going well, But then bam, some bleeding heart wokescold gets involved and the thread is locked. And these people think they are the downtrodden ones, when they have everyone on their side and can easily get any dissenting voice censored.
Hmm definitely not actions deserving of a ban! The argument with the guy who thought fapping is as essential as breathing. That's wrong this forum should be pro anyone arguing anything related to sexual addiction. And masturbating is an unhealthy sexual practice. You can live quite ok without orgasm. Now I truly believe that I recon I'll be ok.
More and more the site seems to side with people who are obviously only here to troll as opposed to regular users who are obviously not trolls. The incident I referred to happened a long time ago but more recently a trans person started a thread asking for help with sex addiction and they got dozens upon dozens of replies from all across the spectrum. Except, as it turned out, they were not trans. They were a troll who made up a story just for attention. When it became undeniable that this was the case, and the evidence was presented, the people who presented it were banned, and the troll got away with it for much longer than they should have. In the end the troll's account vanished but I cannot say if they were banned or if they deleted once they ran out of suckers to waste the time of.
660 words today. Happy to be back at it after a break that was perhaps too long. This chapter is very short so maybe it wont take the full week, we'll see.
Returned from vacation, back in boots, im a soldier again. Wrote some poems but they're quite wild and not in english. Planning on starting reading fiction actively again
Dostoevsky, Lermontov, Salinger, Marquez, Welsh, Celine, London Just from the top of my head, they're all quite different Dostoevsky is my favourite though, I relate to him and his books a lot because he's a guy who was a rationalist and an atheist for most of his youth and he shows how in life the """rational""" way of doing things is often not the right one. "Brothers Karamazov", "The Idiot", "Martin Eden" and "A Hero of Our Time" are some of my favourite books
I don't think I've read anything by any of those. What would you recommend I start with if I were to begin?
Just read "The Dream of a Ridiculous Man", it takes less than an hour to read and is definitely worth it
Wanted to get some writing done today after my morning engagements but unfortunately I don't have the time. Will get back to it tomorrow.
Spent the morning editing everything I'd written and got it down by about 20 words or so to 1474 words.
